So what if he has bird calf's. He is a athletic freak tall, long arms, fast agile with make up speed. And we have all seen him pick up and body slam opponents larger than he is. He is plenty strong enough.
Its a non issue. Any team would take him.

Funny thing is Jalen RAMsey has some of The Best Hops I’ve ever seen from a DB. His InT against Atlanta showed it.He was well above the taller WR to Snag that ball at it’s highest point.
I’ve seen him do it a couple times over the years as well.Last season there was 1 play I can’t remember the exact play, but was in Awh of his leaping ability to make a play on a ball across the goal line.

This thread began with a Let's Trade Ramsey thought; and now has a Maybe He's Throwing Games idea.

How long before we have a conspiracy theory suggesting That's Not Jalen Ramsey! ... It's an Imposter!!
The Queen's funeral is going on in the background and Jalen is nowhere to be seen.

I can only conclude it's because he murdered her.

LOL. The only thing Ramsey can "see" there is Chase's ankles. He had ZERO idea Donald had Burrow.

Aaron Donald SAVED Jalen Ramsey from being the biggest goat in Super Bowl History. And let's not forget Ramsey's Disgraceful, Stupid, SELFISH play on the first play of the drive, allowing 20 yards AND a key out of bounds.

Most overrated player in NFL. A shame we got stuck with the tab. A once great player lost it, due to ego. Perhaps "chicken legs" can work more on his looks, and wearing hoodies in 95 degree weather. Fake superstar.
0:15 secs in, He looks up and sees Burrow rapped up. At this point he has good positioning - Burrow would have to throw is perfectly in stride IF he had time. Anything, a yard short, Ramsey would be there.

Brooklyn - you are 100% wrong on this play. I posted a clear shot of Ramsey on Chase and when Donald was flinging Burrow around Ramsey started to celebrate and fell while doing it. It was in the thread where people were calling out Ramsey on that play. I am in Arizona at the moment and I hate looking for it on a phone

Nope. Not wrong. Ramsey only celebrated AFTER falling. Never saw Donald get to Burrow.

Either way I think Ramsey can play with better discipline and Morris can use him more conservatively.

His days of erasing the best wideouts 1 on 1 are in the past.

Not so sure about this. I might avoid placing him 1 on 1 against smaller, shiftier WRs. But he shut down quite a few #1 WRs last season 1 on 1, and I suspect can still do so. Diggs in week 1 is a tough match up for any CB. But Ramsey, in particular, might be better suited to covering other WRs.

I don't think the top corners in the league can stop the top WRs in league 1 on 1 without help.

Diggs, Davante, Kupp, Hill, Jefferson, Chase can get open against anyone. Slay had a good game last week but Cousins also forced some throws. Top corners can limit these guys but they will break free eventually.

Instead of "I look forward to honestly evaluating the information/video you provide and coming to a reasonable conclusion"? Bold choice to make a decision beforehand and stick to it.
BrooklynRam is bold. Got to give him that. :laugh4:

I will evaluate (re-evaluate) honestly and openly and if I'm wrong will admit it. I've seen the play, Ramsey turns to cover Chase and has his back turned when Donald catches Burrow. Ramsey falls, gets up, and celebrates.

I agree with this though I'm not watching very much football around the league nowadays so not like I'm up to speed on league trends. Seems there is no Deion right now. You have some good young corners that can play on an island but yeah I agree the top wideouts are on a different level. How that got to this point no idea, I assume most of the rare talents are opting for WR nowadays.

Ramsey has always had to use his hands to stay on the quicker types and his reputation for being a top corner has worked in his favor. But I think the difference in today's Ramsey is his makeup speed. He's not as good there any more and that hurts his style of play. Because he's an undisciplined corner who gets caught looking and seems to freelance a bit. He's an artist. So Morris is going to need to get him to play with better discipline and he's also going to need to give him help vs those top draws. Or put him on the guy he can erase and double that top draw.

Either way Ramsey still has game. What has changed is his usage, so part of that is Morris adjusting to it and the other part is Ramsey needing to play with more discipline IMO.

Here's the play, basically by the time Ramsey looks back Donald HAS Burrow already. I'll correct that Ramsey didn't "fall" he tripped over Chase's feet. But there's no way Ramsey KNEW Donald got him and just gave up on the play, if Donald had been blocked this WOULD HAVE BEEN a Touchdown.

Bro you didn't respond when I sent you this. Ramsey is looking at Burrow getting sacked before he trips over Chase's feet.
