Rams sign Troy Reeder - NOT April Fools

His blitzing ability alone might mean he gets into the line up at more than ST. Still, watching him totally read the play, knife in, and then miss the tackle was REALLY painful to watch.

But he was Johnny on the spot a lot of times. He just REALLY needs to wrap up instead of flailing at the ball carrier.

Yeah that is one thing that I have always stated that Reeder does well. He blitzes the QB extremely well. But his run stopping plays is absolutely horrible. Never seen someone get dragged for an extra couple yards like he does on almost every play he makes.

The ring was because of Stafford, Kupp, OBJ, Whitworth, Donald, Von Miller, Ramsey, etc.
Reeder was just along for the ride. We won in spite of him being on the team.

ADD of course your going to forget about The Hall of Famer as well.Who was a STUD!! Without him The Rams loss.
Taylor Rapp was a JOKE as well as Reeder. I get that part of it as starters at the Highest Level.

If it wasn’t for Raheem Morris & his creative thinking!! I’m not sure The Rams make the playoffs or win a playoff game ?? Go watch that Ravens Game & see how well this guy helped The Rams Defense!!!

There should or might be a movie about it ?? I’m not sure about making the ply.The Rams were in a Free Fall.
I’ll admit Austin Blythe was a better starter & playoff guy.He was also put in a spot he shouldn’t have been in.
The Rams make mistakes,but having players like Shelton Coleman & Reeder on the roster aren’t BAD things.Putting them in starting roles might be.The one thing you’ll ALWAYS KNOW is they will be ready to STEP UP when called on.

—Troy Reeder will make The Rams locker better & both Nick Landman who doesn’t know The Rams Defense at all,Omar Speights that only shot out PHRASE to Troy Reeder for being ready to be a starter as a UDRFA !!

Last season really had me thinking,but still drinking the KOOL-AIDE !!

The NFL draft is less than a week away.Looking at this offseason we all might have liked The TUTU ATWELL draft pick. Trust in the L.Brussss pick ? Sort of a JOKE when you look at it. In a CENTER Draft Class ( 5 starter ) & a position of need.The Rams REACH for Tutu Atwell. That said I like The TUTu ATWELL signing.Seeing then The Rams(Mcvay) reaching for Bruss was ( sasjansjF’d up) because of need.

IMO signing Reeder really helps having a veteran in that locker room with limited risk & cap space.
The Rams at some point need to draft or pick up a ILBer! Having Reeder will only help & or push that player to be better.

IMO Whiterspoon is a STUD! A TRUE RAM who is a NFL STARTER & without him The Rams have a lossing record in 2024 !! Why they didn’t bring him back was beyond me.Him signing is AWESOME!! He replaced Jalen Ramsey & on again in 2023 (23 jersey) he came from nowhere to start.Without him in 2023 the same thing to back track.

Point being this are the type of players that help hold the Team together during the season.

I believe when Mcvay says he was learned from his mistakes & process it’s these players that make him better because of his FOUNDATION he created.Sean Mcvay needs to keep being a better vision of himself.
I’ll give Jeff Fisher 1 thing.He had an excellent core of players.Weather that is LES SNEAD or not ??? I’ll add Kevin DEMOFF because he has his hand on the pulse.
The foundation is THE HEART of it ALL !! Having players like Cooper Kupp makes(made) The Rams better.
The CULTURE is The KEY !! SO F”all The HATERS!! Welcome back Shelton Coleman.J. Jack is a better fit in Chicago,only because your a RAM !!

He adds depth,but he worked hard to get himself healthy for a playoff & Superbowl run in case someone got hurt.

Those other Ram LBers stepped up & played well enough to get contracts elsewhere!!

What Troy Reeder brings is EXPERIENCE (Green Mic) of Shula’s Defense!!! He knows the system well. PLUS he can play TEAMS !!

As a MLB barley a JAG ,but he is a Mentor,Leader & a Shula Guy..He also adds depth,besides making that LBer room better.

PLUS - there is a lot of the same process in place from when Fisher was the HC.It has evolved Big Time though.Sean Mcvay .

It seems to me that Reeder has had a different coordinator and therefore somewhat different defense every season I can remember of his career.

I don't think he'll be starting unless as a last resort.
Only so much room on the 53 as well.

His value can't be zero, or else the Rams wouldn't keep bringing him back. I do agree that I have no idea what it is, but he wore the green dot. Maybe his ability to get the defense in the right formations? Idk. But to your other point, I'd 100 percent keep signing contracts if teams would give them to me. Embarrassment or not I'm taking a million dollars per year lol

Correct. McVays laughable hard stance on Reeder starting last year was borderline psychotic. I would literally rather play with 10 players on defense.
