YEP - don’t hold your breath,but ENJOY BRYCEN !! A touch down a day won’t keep my reporting away. Dude is bigger,stronger,faster, & playing with more confidence.How that translates on Sunday’s I don’t know.
Plus the experience he got last season.He also plays with a NASTINESS to Him which he is controlling.I especially like how he looks in motions Blowing Up a DE!!!
Higbeast is Still The Man though.He is looking healthier
& is the veteran leader The Rams trust.

I don’t know what the F’ your saying,but is this guy a Raiders guy or a Rams guy.As far as us who went to training camp.I know what I saw & didn’t complain about the sun.I wore a hat to protect my head,but if you know the difference of The Lou & NB then I’d agree he is getting extra sunshine especially today vs. 2 weeks ago.

Actually I think this is the first time there have ever been positive reports about hopkins at camp. Usually he's been invisible and people wondering if he's gonna get cut.

Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald was limited during team drills after taking a rest day Wednesday, but he kicked off one-on-one drills with a bang when he flattened Raiders guard Netane Muti and drove him to the ground on his first rep of the day. Muti shoved Donald and a brief skirmish began, but linemen on both sides quickly separated them.

Donald set an early tone that seemed to energize the Rams’ defensive line. Edge rusher Byron Young beat Raiders offensive tackle Kolton Miller twice during one-on-ones.

• Fellow edge rusher Desjuan Johnson had the rep of the period when he bull-rushed Raiders guard McClendon Curtis and knocked him off his feet. Young took that honor in two-on-two drills when he torched Raiders offensive tackle Justin Herron. Overall, the Rams’ defensive linemen consistently got the better of the Raiders’ offensive linemen early.

While starters didn’t face each other often Wednesday, both sides had their first-team units on the field once an 11-on-11 move-the-ball drill began. The Raiders attempted to lean on the run game initially, but had little success. The starting interior of the Raiders’ offensive line saw some shuffling with left guard Dylan Parham missing his second straight practice due to injury. Muti got the left guard, Andre James was at center and Greg Van Roten was at right guard. They were fine in pass protection, but the run blocking left plenty to be desired.

• One-on-one (or in Thursday’s case for some periods, two-on-two) offensive lineman/defensive lineman drills can be subjective and often need context, but some of the Rams’ offensive linemen seemed to step up their physicality after a tough Wednesday. Left tackle Alaric Jackson and center Coleman Shelton especially appeared to improve. Meanwhile, Maxx Crosby remained extremely difficult to block on many pass-rush reps, particularly on the right side of the Rams’ offensive line, and that carried from drills into 11-on-11s where the Rams’ first-team offense faced the Raiders’ first-team defense. The Raiders’ defense, despite starting slow Thursday, immediately had a ton of visible (and audible) energy whether on the field or the sideline waiting to rotate into a series.

The two days I was in Irvine Hopkins really stood out. But I’m with you, let’s see if he can take it into the regular season.

The Rams are so deep at WR,I can’t see him making the team.
He does make plays.He is going to have to show up in the preseason.

The media keeps harping on the OL but the way the Rams keep treating this as extended OTAs with all the positional shuffling the OL can't learn to play as a unit. It as much or more than any other unit on the team needs to play as a unit. Yes there are individual battles but in the context of the game it need unit cohesion to be successful. They need to decide who is starting where and stick with it. The OL needs time to build trust in one another and unit cohesion. I think starting next week all the OL shuffling probably ends and the starting OL is determined.

Allen is a pure center, so they need to know whether he's their starter because unlike Shelton it's center or backup center for Allen. That's why I'm leaning towards Allen as the starter with Shelton or Thomas at RG if Noteboom can't go. I don't think Noteboom's Achilles is 100%. With many people it takes a full year to recover as much as they are going to. Whether or not a repaired Achilles can hold up for an NFL OL is really debateable.

Zach Thomas really is a surprise to many people but I liked his play at SDSU. He's got good movement skills with good quickness and smooth footwork. He's 6'5" 300lbs with nice long arms giving him excellent play radius. If Noteboom can't go then I'd really like to see Thomas. He's come a long way and being held out and given a red shirt year to develop as a OG shows. His only real criticism coming out of college was he needed to strengthen to play in the NFL. It looks like he's done that. This guy belongs in the NFL and if I was Wendell he would be my choice for RG over a gimpy Noteboom.

LG Avila 6'3", 332 lbs
C Shelton 6'4", 299 lbs
RG Thomas 6'5", 300 lbs
RT Havenstein 6'8", 330 lbs

Reserves: OT McClendon and Noteboom, C/OG McAllister, Maginn

That's a big OL, so if they really wanted to go bigger that would be the starting OL I would go with. Good centers are always in demand. I'd trade Allen, but I think they keep him and put Maginn on the PS. We will know if Allen starts at center on Saturday. I would give Noteboom a full year to recover then a shot at RT next year. If he doesn't pan out then Thomas can move to RT and McClendon inside to RG in 2024.

You sure do want to push Havenstein out. Why? He is the most available OL the Rams have had since he was drafted and he doesnt commit a lot of penalties or give up a lot of sacks. ORT is the 1 spot on the OL that the coaching staff hasnt had to worry about since before McVay was hired. Did he kick your dog or say something mean about your wife/girlfriend?

Love seeing footage from NFL training camps, but can’t stand accounts posting video of one rep from 1v1’s and making outlandish statements.A) 1v1’s are for working on your craft/new moves.B) Literally every player wins/loses reps every single day. One rep tells nothing.
