Very concerned about Dedich at RG. Hopefully Dotson can go. If not then the panthers will attack the Dedich/Shelton combo to get pressure up the middle. Bears watching.
Dedich really isn't as bad as that. Sometimes Stafford will feel pressure from him. He can run block pretty well. It's pass protection where he can be tenuous but not to where he allows sacks. Stafford is aware and that's a good thing. I think he'll be getting some help from the TEs too.

Forbes is my concern as he had a terrible game against the Panthers. I wonder does he start or Spoon at CB.

I’m obviously speculating here, as we all do on a sports board…but I feel like McVay may be gambling a bit on holding some guys out because he feels like he can win this Carolina gm short a couple key players like Dotson. Meaning if we were facing a Seattle or Philly this week, it’d be all hands on deck.

Ah the game within the game. I'm hoping we see a more run oriented offense as they might not expect it as I sure don't. either way I don't feel like this is a game to be confident in enough to alter your thinking for next week. But hey maybe we see some genius coaching he's been holding back for the next 4 games.

I don’t it,but even then The Rams should be just(in) fine with Dedich starting.Next week I think we can count on K-Dot though.

Having 4 TE’s & him being able to pull might workout to The Rams advantage this weekend. Not saying K-DOT is an All Pro Player either. His health moving forward is more important weighing it all.

We can go down the list as well. Q & Te last week & maybe even Ferguson & Alaric against Atlanta.
Jackson being an example if you over look a team.Still it has worked out for THE BEST 2nd guessing or not.

Another thing that led me to my conclusion was that McVay faced Carolina only about a month ago. If it was an unfamiliar opponent maybe he doesn’t sit the borderline injured guys.

Anyway, McVay knows what he’s doing. He’s compiled quite a bit of playoff and travel experience.

Rams don't do comfortable, sadly. Win or lose our big games always go down to the wire.
Except against the Cardinals....

.....and the Buccaneers....

..... And the last game we played against San Francisco....

..... and our game against the Saints...

.... Oh, and our game against the Jaguars..... and the Ravens and Titans....
Other than that.... ;)

Something to note: We did whatever we wanted to do on the ground against them in the last game. Corum averaged nearly 12 yards a carry, Kyren near 6. They didn't have their 2 best players in the secondary, which they will have in this game. Its likely to rain most of the game.

Run the ball down their throats. No need to get cute. Run until it doesn't work anymore.
Without Dodson it wont be as easy.

We have already have gotten a plentiful amount of a sample size!

Now you’re going to see a SIZE UP!!
This Rams Offense is special. You can go back & look at the first Carolina game and see what happened.Don’t think that was a True Test , or what this RAMS TEAM is all about.

Wait until you see The DEFENSE take CONTROL as well. The kicking game has looked SOLID!!

The thing some Rams Fans who want to play The Devils advocate!!
Look at ALL The STARTERS playing SPECIAL TEAMS!! That’s a Nice change

My guess is Carolina doesn’t really have a plan when on defense. Lol

On offense I betcha they’re gonna want to play that dink and dunk stuff early, run it some. Possess. Hold it for long drives. Take deep shots in the red zone. Gamble on ST’s maybe. Play keep away.

If #9 is on and strikes early a couple of times…it’ll force them to speed up their process on offense. Then our D will get turnovers.

They can’t hang if it goes that way.

When I say big games I am referring to playoffs. Would love to see them run the table but I don't think that will ever happen for this team. It's not their style.

Minnesota game last year? Dallas game..?
Minnesota ‘24 was pretty easy. Arizona ‘21 was pretty easy. I remember Sony Michel opened that game with like a 35 yard run and I was like “oh we got this”. Dallas ‘18. TB ‘21 was should’ve been easy but the fumbles, errant snaps, and blown coverages made us pull a rabbit out of a hat.

Usually I like the Rams to get the ball to begin the 2nd half, because they seem to put points on the board in the 3rd qtr.
But for this game, I'm liking them to take the opening kickoff, and go straight down the field for an opening, statement type of TD.
Put them on notice that this is how it's gonna be ...... all effing day.

Sure but both those Rams teams ended up being eliminated. You could add the Minnesota blowout win in the '99 playoffs too, but what followed was two massive nailbiters.

Maybe it's more accurate to say our title games are never comfortable. Even the Bungles you had a game where it looked like a blowout, but of course OBJ went down and it turned into the ugly scrum the Rams seem to prefer. :laugh3:
