It boggles my mind that it boggles peoples minds why we don’t see more TutuIt just boggles my mind that he doesn't use Tutu more because teams are doubling Puka and Adams, and the TE
That's part of that ball control offense I was talking about. What was needed was more underneath passes to the RBs...particularly KW, who we know has great hands. More use of Tutu underneath also would be great. It just boggles my mind that he doesn't use Tutu more because teams are doubling Puka and Adams, and the TE.
Funny, i said the exact same thing, when Hunter made the tackle.Something random:
Was that a Jacquez Hunter sighting on STs?
He made a nice tackle on KO coverage.
I think that's over-simplified. Tutu has had bigger and better players in front of him. Your memory is really shallow here. We've seen Tutu make great plays once and again. No one's saying that he should start...but that you can find places to use his talent more.It boggles my mind that it boggles peoples minds why we don’t see more Tutu
It’s simple, he just doesn’t have it
I think that first 2nd half drive was an example of when being a heavy favorite, McVay and the team presses. He seemed a little desperate to re-assert control after the end of the half failures.McVay always talks about putting the Rams and their offense in a situation to succeed. Was it the first couple of drives in Q3 where he gave up on the run against light boxes (6 man fronts or the LBs playing 8 yards deep) and continued to throw the ball against Jackson?
The Rams need better play calling than to continually target and force the ball against a team’s best CB.
I liked this team’s determination in the end as we never gave up and played Super Bowl level football on the last two drives!
Yes, rookie Mumpfield, Xavier Smith & WhittingtonTutu has had bigger and better players in front of him. Your memory is really shallow here.
Yes good point on the Rams having played everyone else.Agree 100%.
I have been saying for the last month that caleb is one scary mofo. He’s the newest version of the lamar jackson prototype.
Williams is already a better QB and just as athletic. The guy has a cannon for an arm.
Plus, the Rams have played everybody else.
It's a problem. No doubt. Also what has been a problem is the drops, there were a lot of them yesterday. So his final line for the day could have been much better had he toned that arm down a bit and just put the fuckin ball where it needs to be.With that, when is Stafford gonna stop missing those wide open TD throws ??? Had 2 yesterday.
Yeah that Stafford throw to nucka. Looked like a brett favre throw.Yes good point on the Rams having played everyone else.
I will note that I don't think Caleb is fully arrived yet either as an NFL QB. Where he is right now is that stage where he's earning a reputation as a strong closer. He looks like a gunslinger type, streaky and strong finishes, and that can be terrifying for opponents in the playoffs. Look at Stafford. Those gunslingers die horrible playoff deaths at times, but they also make magic.

Again that throw to Puka looked like it came out of a hunting rifle. Puka eats the drop, but it was really Stafford's fault at least in part for putting too much on it. That said it wasn't Puka's only drop. Both him and Adams need to improve on that count.
If we move forward with Stafford at QB (which seems likely but there have already been cracks on the compensation side) it makes a lot of sense to draft a big weapon wideout for outside that hash. Because one thing about Stafford is when you give him an elite target he knows how to feed him.
