Anyone else going? I haven’t been to a game in years - in fact the last one was also at Panther stadium - but I’ve got Sunday tickets and pretty good seats at that.
There’s a separate thread, but hey, let’s talk about the Panthers. On defense, I assume we stop the run and have Young beat us, no?

On offense we pick on anybody not named Horn.

Tet McMillian can be a problem - although he sure wasn’t against the 9ers. But yes, stop the run and good things generally happen against the panthers.

Hopefully Rozeboom will not be scratched for this game. I didn’t even realize he was a Panther.
I hold no ill will towards any former Rams - but the Rams offense does certainly put stress on opposing linebackers - especially in coverage.

Stupid Trivia Question

Can you name the four players projected to start Sunday in the Rams / Panthers game that started for the Rams in the 2021 Super Bowl?

Neither Jake McQuaide (LS), nor Darious Williams qualify ... Durant and Forbes are the Rams' starting CBs.

Havenstein (IR) would have qualified but Higbee (IR) would not because he did not play in the Super Bowl.

I'll never forget Sunday, December 5th 1999. I traveled from Memphis to the Rams at Panthers game with my girlfriend. It was a blast!

The Rams were really creaming the Panthers, 21-7 at the half and the Panther fans around me were going back and forth. The Panthers came back and it was 24-21 in the 4th. Panther fans were all over me ragging because they closed the gap

The Panthers had the ball, driving in the 4th. Beuerlien dropped back to pass and threw a pick 6 to Dre Bly. I WENT CRAZY on those Panther fans but we had fun. One guy was drunk and wanted to fight but I ignored him...but my girlfriend got afraid because we were surrounded...:laugh2:The Rams took the game 31-21 and of course went on to take the Super Bowl.

I'm in Chicago right now...but Saturday I head to Memphis. I'm thinking about making a run to the Panther game, checking into it now.

I don’t either, I just want to see if ROD over or underestimated his skills while on this team. It’s easiest to see if he’s active and playing against us.

E.g. Gaines played last week and I don’t recall hearing his name. I assume he didn’t fare well,

Ooooo, that's a tough one!

I'm proud to have gotten two out of four. I had to look up the other two. I'll not respond so others can guess.
I got Stafford and Corbett. I had to look up Robinson and Scott.

I figured the Rams had the one and only... and the other 3 were Panthers.

I got the 2 guys on offense, and I woulda been hard pressed to come up with the 2 guys on defense without internet help.
