I'll never forget Sunday, December 5th 1999. I traveled from Memphis to the Rams at Panthers game with my girlfriend. It was a blast!

The Rams were really creaming the Panthers, 21-7 at the half and the Panther fans around me were going back and forth. The Panthers came back and it was 24-21 in the 4th. Panther fans were all over me ragging because they closed the gap

The Panthers had the ball, driving in the 4th. Beuerlien dropped back to pass and threw a pick 6 to Dre Bly. I WENT CRAZY on those Panther fans but we had fun. One guy was drunk and wanted to fight but I ignored him...but my girlfriend got afraid because we were surrounded...:laugh2:The Rams took the game 31-21 and of course went on to take the Super Bowl.

I'm in Chicago right now...but Saturday I head to Memphis. I'm thinking about making a run to the Panther game, checking into it now.
Think that is the game they clinched the division....or top overall seed, I cant remember. I came up from Clemson, SC for that game....

Ooooo, that's a tough one!

I'm proud to have gotten two out of four. I had to look up the other two. I'll not respond so others can guess.
I got Stafford and Corbett. I had to look up Robinson and Scott.

I figured the Rams had the one and only... and the other 3 were Panthers.

I got the 2 guys on offense, and I woulda been hard pressed to come up with the 2 guys on defense without internet help.
i got scott and stafford other two i had no clue on

Definitely a game we should roll in. Early on the East Coast can be tricky though. This is an interesting stretch because we play 4 games in the next 3 weeks culminating on Thursday against the hawks on the road.

Stupid Trivia Question

Can you name the four players projected to start Sunday in the Rams / Panthers game that started for the Rams in the 2021 Super Bowl?

Neither Jake McQuaide (LS), nor Darious Williams qualify ... Durant and Forbes are the Rams' starting CBs.

Havenstein (IR) would have qualified but Higbee (IR) would not because he did not play in the Super Bowl.
If you’re counting Havenstein, then add Stafford, Shelton, and Dotson?

Edit:
I didn’t consider players on the panthers who were former Rams.
Never mind.

No on Havenstein, Shelton and Dotson.

As I stated in the above question ... players projected to start Sunday that also started in the Super Bowl.
Havenstein is on IR, so he will not start on Sunday.
Shelton did not start in the Super Bowl ... he was a back-up in 2021. Brian Allen was the starting-center.
Dotson did not join the Rams until 2023

It's OK ... was a dumb-ass question

I am hoping to see Stafford throw a TD before he throws an INT - so that he no longer shares that record with Brady. Then I hope he continues this season in a way such that it is one of those records that will never be touchable again.
Alright man, 49 TD's THREE Int's. That work ? :)

Getting Seattle on a Thursday is BS. They shouldn't have division games on Thursday nights. Those games are too important for a short week. I get why they do it. Those teams are normally geographically closer to one another so less travel, but in this case that is not true.
