If it’s in the news then I’m more inclined to believe it’s a decoy. Just like the rumor about McCord. Would they let their interests be known ahead of the draft, considering how secretive they were last season. They faked interest in trying to move up for a left tackle, publicized interest in Chop Robinson and secretly met up with Jared Verse.

Unless they think people won’t believe anything they do now, which means they can visit anyone.

Slater's a good looking lineman but can he play in the pivot? That's the only way he'd make sense as a trade down option.

I'd rather have a ILB that's better against the run than pass. We need some juice in the middle.
Here's where I wonder if instead they add another space-eater on the DL to make the run game better.

Well they did that with FA. I'd still like to see an effort putting some big athletic guys in the middle of our line. But it's hard to say whether the rams have really bought into the NFL becoming more run heavy. I think the draft will determine which way the NFL is headed over the next ten years.

Kenneth Grant would be hard to pass up. It would be a case of making one of your units dominant....

Maybe Loveland, but I’d say Arroyo is closer to Bowers based on speed
I would second Arroyo as the closest to Bowers. But Bowers was a unique combo of big program, production, polish, and athletic ability.

Arroyo certainly has a similar suddenness to him in the pattern, you can see his raw talent no doubt. If McVay were to get his hands on him boy howdy. I just don't like that knee injury history. Been leery of that shit since Gurley.

Me too. And there’s been a couple of other injured players they drafted that had short tenures. Barrett Jones with the Lis Franc and wasn’t there an edge from Alabama with a knee?

I don’t care how good they are. Players with previously serious injuries are a big risk. Despite the Rams having one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the business on the payroll, even Elitrage was wrong about the impact of Tredavious White’s injury. It’s best just to stay away unless it’s a position that the Rams don’t like to give second contracts to and they only hope to get 3-4 years out of the player.
