The play calls make it look like they don't trust the line. Or the QBs are to short to see over the line. LOL

Simpson looks so much more dynamic than Bennett.
Bennett didn't look good...although in his defense, the play calling looked VERY conservative when he was in.

Bennet was .playing with scrubs against the Cheifs starting D. Difficult to adequately evaluate his play.

It's like he's a rookie with just a few weeks of practice. He's probably playing to a single read on most plays at this point.

The Offensive Line will be interesting in this game. I am looking for guys that can contribute. I am betting if Quessenberry plays, it is only a few snaps, however, I want to see the rookie Trost and where he plays. A.J. Arcuri might start at LT with Trost at RT and I hope we see Beaux Limmer at Center and not Guard because IMO, that is the position he struggles at.

Austin Blaske could showcase something and @So Ram and I have been campaigning to see more of Wyatt Bowles, so I expect him at Guard too. RT Bryce Henderson is a biggin at almost 6'8, but really struggled last season in Pass Protection at Vanderbilt, so I expect maybe 4th quarter snaps for him.

#64 Blaske seems like a keeper ?
-Trost got the start at RT
- Wyatt doesn’t looks like he’ll make the team.
-Bill Murray is a SURPRISE
- Limmer at RG ?
-Dylan got the start a Center

Does AJ make the Team ? He is battle tested. I find the DEPTH CHART on The O”Line very confusing this season.

I feel like Jimmy is going to be back in the building very shortly. The playcalling today makes it seem like they aren’t trying to get either one of these guys ready to be QB2. Especially after watching several other preseason games. These other QBs have gotten the opportunity to cut it loose. Maybe it will change vs New Orleans.

Yeah, a few guys have changed their numbers this season. Mumpfield #4 ... Kinchens #5 ... Keir Thomas #11

I think Thomas looks leaner in #11 ... probably selected it to make him look thinner ... so vain

If you heard the sideline interview of Coach Shula he said today was more about the operation, getting players on and off the field, not so much about executing plays but getting everyone communicating.

Makes sense from what I’m seeing.
