Now we have people thinking everything will be fine for the 13th selection in the draft to not be able to beat out a career #3 QB in the NFL.

I'm gonna cheer for Simpson but I'm no simp.

Only would worry me if Simpson could not supplant Bennett as the number 2 by the end of the season.

I dont know if "something clicked on" for Stetson Bennett, and he's about to have a Season that makes him the next Malik Willis/Matt Flynn type. Would be great for us if it did. Either way im not holding it against Simpson if it happens. No Simpson freak-outs from me til year 2, and I maintain every expectation he will be a Franchise Quarterback in this League.

not sure about all the hedging with regards to simpson....

some (not all) talking heads were rating him ABOVE mendosa before the rib issue (game 8 or 9 ?)
and predicted he would go #1 instead of mendosa...

i have seen tape breakdowns of simpson by a few nfl talking heads showing he was

looking off receiver's...
baiting corners/safeties...
throwing no look passes (where have i heard that before?)...
and puting on a show when it comes to protection breakdowns...
