Ya I think his mouth & his brain aren't in sync. From what I gather, he actually didn't mean to proposition Sweeney for a skydiving date -- he was literally just saying he liked the idea (apparently he's never been), without realizing he was replying in-thread & what his reply in the context of his super-star status implies.
I don't think it's hit him yet just how big of a deal he is in LA. Like, he can actually proposition a starlet & people wouldn't think twice about it. But then again, that's why we love him -- a humble guy with humble roots and a 9,000 rpm motor.

i get ya...but people on both sides of this issue get quite buthurt. Ive seen it on this board several times.
Its just a devisive thing to bring up. He isnt wrong but it never leads to anywhere good.
As long as he's available to play idc what he says or does on his personal time.
Honestly he didn't say anything I don't already know. I've seen what Rams games against the niners and cowboys look like at Sofi.

Puka is a whole different level. This isn't 4 pillars stuff. I watched the video. Puka and Verse have the same lack of filter, and sometimes it makes me a little nervous. Puka has more charisma, and an incredible charm and is lovable. Add to that he is so in tune with the current culture. Throw in the fact that the NFL has never quite seen a wide receiver with his combination of skill, heart, passion for the game. I would even venture this statement. Someone refute this:
By the time his career is complete, Puka Nacua might be the greatest NFL ambassador the sport has ever seen.
We are watching a future Hall of Famer in the midst of his best years. Rams aren't going to clutch their pearls, release him, and watch him spend those years helping another team get a ring. Let's be real.
We can be heart-felt fans and still acknowledge this tough truth. The Rams have incredible, loyal fans. We just need more showing up at Sofi.

Totally agree.....in all honesty we know this but its still stupid to say. Anyone that knows an annoying ass Whiners fan will now have to hear about it. Shouldn't have mentioned anything about it at all. Puka kinda situationally dumb when talking about some things. Oh well, its been said already.
Absolutely not lol, Puka is not Ernest Jones. You’re talking arguably the best player at one of the most important positions compared to an ILB who is not even top 5 at his position lol.

Not sure what Puka's comment was about, since I didn't really watch the game. Getting kinda ugly tho. I really hope the Rams come back with a chip on their shoulders next year. They will certainly have a target on their backs.

I really wish Puka would just stop talking on social media. The podcasts didn’t bother me but that X post did.
It’s just so unnecessary. It’s making people not like him and I don’t blame them.
Do I think this affects anything with his status with the Rams? No. And I do believe he’s a great kid in the locker room but he’s also just a kid who’s in the limelight, in LA.

Well he's right. The Rams fan base is still a bit sluggish and to me Sofi stadium is like a big carnival..... too much distraction from what is happening on the field. I liked the Coliseum, there was much more focus on field.
I went to every game when the Rams first moved back to LA, but after experiencing some games at Sofi, I'd rather stay home... It seems it's either 50/50, or the stadium is completely over-ran by the other teams fans.
The Rams organization needs an ah-ha moment that will somehow spark a loyal and emphatic fan base like the Dodgers and even the boring Lakers.
What I have noticed when I make it out to our factory floor, most of the Latinos are wearing either Raider, Dallas or 49er jerseys. And Asian folks Dodgers or Laker jerseys.
Sign Travis Kelce..... That should help with an emphatic fan base, and give Taylor Swift her own jersey (13). You'll never see another Sofi take over again.
That’s his agent’s job as he doesn’t have a media relations guy to my knowledge and is apparent from the lack of a media filter. Although unlikely he may be hurting his future pay as well as his agent’s cut of commission.
