Detroit's prob is their defense. For them to beat us requires a poor day by Stafford and our offense, or Detroit's offense hanging points on our defense. Could happen, sure. But not likely if we draw them. And we may end up playing that game at home as well this time around.

Rams are a different team this year. Much stronger defensively than the team Detroit's seen the past couple years. And I think Stafford smells that second Lombardi. So Detroit would probably need to knock him out of the game to beat us.
Don’t say that, Merlin. They’re just dirty enough to do it.

I absolutely hope not. I would love to see them just march in and through the playoffs and win out all the way through February.
Could you imagine if they did that, we could say they were 2 plays away from a perfect season?

Nice to hope for but one game at a time.

I would say nothing like the past couple years but still dangerous. We usually do well when we owe somebody though.
The Lions deserve a serious beat-down from the Horns. Wasn't it that idiot, Joseph Kirby, who who tore up HigBeast's knee ligaments? The OL and the TE's need to put out an APB on him. Maybe our Soul Stealer may embarrass him with a no looker. This guy has been playing with karma for a few years now, and payback is a you-know-what!!! :fistbump1:

It may have to come sooner. I'm not sure that a game where you're resting your starters gives you that kick in the ass.
I can see that line of thinking.
I just can't see which of the remaining games left on the schedule that I could stomach losing.
Maybe the harmless Cards game next week?
Naaahhhhh.
Then I'd have to listen to my mom ( big Cards fan) crow about that for the rest of the season.
Hell .... noooo !!!

Just win out !!!

The Bears will start to lose some games. I'd love for them to win out though, take the Packers or Niners out of the playoffs if possible.

The game itself yesterday bothered me less than a typical loss would - just gave the game away and we don't do that, so I'm confident it's a one off.

The uncertainty for me are the games against Detroit and Seattle for us to win the division.

If we beat Seattle it's a no brainer, we win it. If we lose both those games, we are a wildcard team most likely.

But because the third tie breaker for division title is record against common opponents, were good if we take care of business - we can lose to Seattle and as long as we finish with the same record as them, we would get the tiebreaker of record against common opponents.

So we're in good shape - we must take care of business though against the Cardinals, Lions and Falcons

And as an aside....we play Arizona and Detroit the next two. I expect that Detroit game to be tough because they will be fighting for their lives, but that McVay and co. will come up with a fantastic gameplan after Detroit pushed us around a bit the last two years.

If we win those games.....and Seattle either loses one at Atlanta, or home against the Colts....

We could essentially clinch the division on that Thursday night, or at least eliminate Seattle from being able to win it. A win against them and we'd be 12-3, whereas they'd be 10-5 (this is contingent upon them losing one prior to our next game against them and us winning both though).

The Niners would technically still be alive, so we wouldn't formally clinch. But would be nice to force Seattle into a wildcard role

$27 for a Rams game! Is this 1979? What next? Led Zep tickets $20?

Losing to the panthers sucks but I remember not winning a game in November in 2021 after a 7-1 start. Horns up Rams brothers. We're still in contention for the #1 seed and I'm certain McVay will right the ship and the players can't be happy with what happened.

Yeah, it F-N sucks, but maybe this is/was the wake up call the Rams needed to realize that being the media darlings for a week doesn't win jack shit. Now go out and get it done. I'm sure the players feel the same way.
