Last game is with the Cardinals. Just their luck the Rams have clinched and have nothing to play for that game. Sit the starters. Cards win and screw up their draft position.
Speaking of the incompetence of the Cardinals organization....we weren't....but anyway....the Cardinals have been around (associated with the NFL) since 1920 ....105 years.
Their longest tenured head coach with with the team for 6 years.
Ken Whisenhunt is the longest tenured coach in Cardinals history.
It took an ex Ram QB to keep a coach longer that 5 years.
It looks like the next short timer is on borrow time as we speak.

One of my favorite experiences was actually visiting the Eagles stadium. Their tailgating and bar scene is so fun. It probably helped that I was with a friend that was an Eagles fan and we were bad at the time, but also I was in my 20s and I lifted enough weights that the avg person wouldn't want to challenge me. I got some occasional boos but that's it.
Me from my 20's to 60's. At the same measure I wasn't one to look for trouble either so win-win.

What a week! We're in 1st now, and after seeing the Panthers Sunday night and the Lions yesterday, there's a good chance they we hold on for the remainder of the season. The Lions are explosive at times but beatable and I think our offense will play a lot better next time against Seattle.

I'm not trying to overlook the Panthers, Cardinals and Falcons, but those games are should wins.

Blows my mind that we somehow always have one of the hardest schedules, no matter where we finish in the standings the year prior.
I mean, aren't there only two games that even deal with strength of schedule? The rest are division games and other divisions on a 4-year rotation. We just don't have 3 perennial losers in our division like NE and some other teams have.

If it came down to it, what would be our tiebreaker with the Bears?

#1 is head to head, then it's record in NFC, then record against common opponents I think

Thus far the Rams have won 4 NFC games and the Bears 6. Assuming the Bears lose at least 1 more game, the Rams can afford to lose one more game and win the top seed, unless the Eagles lose one more and the Bears lose 2 more, then the Rams can afford to lose 2 more games.

This is without having to go to tie breakers. The bears have 4 NFC games remaining and the Rams have 6.

In the end the Rams should have the better NFC record, assuming the Packers beat the Bears at least once out of two games.

Most likely NFC record.

Rams have 4 NFC wins. Bears have 6. However, Bears have 4 NFC games left, two against the packers and one against the whiners.

The Rams have 6 NFC games left. Not looking past the Panthers, but record wise out toughest games are home against the Lions and one the road at Seattle. But this is the NFL and looking past any team can become a loss.

And the Rams have a one game lead so there's that. Basically, the Rams have a one game lead against the eagles. It's actually 2 but eagles own the tie breaker as they beat the Rams.

Best case scenario, eagles lose 2 more games as well as the bears which would give the Rams a good chance to clinch and maybe even rest starters on week 18 against the Cardinals.
