Well that's the beauty of McVay. He's such a strong leader that I'm sure no matter who comes to our team he lays that down as a line not to cross. If he deems it that Hill can do just that, then he'd be a dangerous weapon for our offense. If not, I'm sure he'll figure it out. Hill did say something AD told McVay tho, just make sure they give a damn.
McVay doesn’t tolerate it. Hill is a grown up and is who he is. I doubt he changes because McVay tells him to.

But, we’ll see.

Definitely disagree with you there. There are several examples in everyday life where grown men that respect other grown men as leaders will act differently. You are correct in we shall see though as McVay is going to change something about this offense. Whether Hill is even considered will be determined shortly. I still personally think he has a lot left to prove and the talent to do it.

Whatever you would offer tee Higgins.. add 5 mil and offer to Tyreek. Higgins is always hurt.. and Tyreek, although older is on a complete other level. And honestly you've only got a year or 2 left for Stafford. Might as well put all your chips in again for another run before it's too late
Depends on what our offer is as to whether or not we should add more money to offer, but as othes have said, he requires trade capital. However I'm all for adding Hill. Speed kills and it's what our offense truly lacks. Just truly depends on what Miami ask for in return.

I gave you Ramsey earlier but guess you're more interested in winning an argument about this? People were bashing the guy. O'dell Beckham with us as well. Not saying Hill will fall under that but it's possible. In all honesty, it may even be a moot point based on what Miami wants as trade, but I wouldn't write a player off with talent under the rught coaching. Just as a nugget, I'll throw in those cocaine Cowboys for you too lol

I don’t put Ramsey in the same group as Hill. Ramsey didn’t try to kill a baby in his girlfriend’s womb by jumping on it.

Odell? Maybe. The Rams weren’t all that excited about signing Odell afterwards and he really wanted to come back to the Rams. Maybe McVay got enough of a taste to veto it.

And aren’t you trying to win an argument here? I think your examples don’t really support your position.

Maybe it’s just that I think Hill is scum and hope McVay realizes that too before he lets him infect a good nucleus. The Chiefs were willing to move on from Hill, and he was one of if not the best receiver in the league at the time.

I'm not trying to win anything but simply saying the guy deserves a chance to prove himself. Its obvious you truly dislike him which is understandable as I honestly didn't know about the girlfriend thing but I still find this kinda stuff funny when we are fans of a team that rooted for Leonard Little. Players can fuck up cuz their humans and later redeem themselves. Hopefully he's learned not to be a fucking idiot and learned from his dumb ass mistake. Chiefs moving on had way more to do with his contract demands in my opinion but the baggage didn't help. By the way my not so sure had more to do with Odell as I think the knee injury fucked up any chance of re-signing.

$30m/year would be my guess. But it’s the guaranteed $$ that is key. So something like 3 years/$90m with $65m guaranteed.
It will likely be a 5 year deal so they can spread out the signing bonus and keep 1st year cap hit minimal.
But I agree, 30 mill per is the number

Well, I hope you are wrong. One thing I love about the Rams since McVay has been here is the culture he’s built and the types of players he chooses. I don’t see Hill adding to that equation at all and he’s a player I’d have difficulty rooting for.

It would be like when Roger Clemens signed with the Yankees. :sick2:

For McVay it seems the minute a player goes ‘Me Not We’ they are out. It may hurt short but seems like a recipe for long term team success.

I might let Jackson walk and target LT with the RD1 pick. The reason is he will require likely north of 20M. He is not an elite player and if you do your scouting right, you could get a LT with higher upside in RD1.

Free Agency I would like to target someone like Godwin (28) who is still playing at an elite level. Coming off an ankle but was one of the top WR's before.

I would also target Bolton. I know the Rams don't prioritize the position but this defense is close to becoming a top unit, and he is young. I think Shula could do wonders with him and Speights in the middle.

I also target a DB like Ward.

Hope I'm wrong in Hill doing better or the Rams somehow trading for him? I don't think I've once flat out said that he should be the Rams priority in FA just more so saying if they somehow decided to add him, I can see the positives he brings to the football team on the field as he's still talented and I'd be ok with the addition. Personally I hope the dude finds a way to just be a better human since that's what I hope for anyone. My guess is we'll probably not go after him. I'll say again, I can't be mad at people being pissed at what he did with the whole girlfriend thing. Regardless it's gonna be interesting to see how the Rams go about building the roster since there are so many possibilities and I always feel like its the Rams make moves others don't always expect.

Which Ward are you referring to if you don't mind me asking?

Resign Jackson and go get Bolton for MLBer. Then select the best CB available when they pick in the draft.

I like that idea for sure but would you also still go after CB if we get one in FA? I personally wouldn't mind a double dip of sorts since Snead seems to pour into a particular position every off season.
