Nick Wright is back to flirting with the Rams as his Super Bowl pick again, flowers and all. Chris Broussard still isn't as high on us, but remarked that flowers are too "cute" to do the Rams justice and that we're a "brick house", a stone-cold fox:laugh3:

Too much talk about Seattle this morning. I get that their defense was good, but ours was better damn.
We made their defense look better than it really is. If McVay would have stuck to the offensive 1st and 2nd quarter game plan, Williams would have ran for 150 yards and Stafford would have lit up Seattle's D for 270 yards easy. We should have had at least 35 points on the scoreboard. I'll bet McVay is still kicking himself for trying to be ultra conservative.

Exactly. Our efficiency was mostly due to our errors. Missed throws, drops, an uncharacteristic fumble. Seattle is overlooking the fact that they didn't see our best.

I thought some of the missed throws were due to pressure. Unlike, Darnold, who held on to the ball too long only to throw off his back foot, losing velocity and accuracy … resulting in four difference-making interceptions, Stafford got the ball out … avoiding sacks, hits and, most importantly, turnovers.

Also thought some of the drops were on throws that were a little off because of the above referenced pressure and Stafford getting the ball out early.

As for Nacua’s fumble, it looked like he had the ball tucked high and tight … exactly where it should be … but Cobie Bryant made a perfectly executed Peanut Punch.

I thought one of the best defenses in the NFL … the Seahawks … was very impressive.

Stafford was pressured but he usually figures it out. Normally he would have converted the 4th down on the initial drive, and I believed we would’ve had points on the drives where Puka fumbled and Adams dropped the deep pass across the middle. These miscues alone would have put us in the upper 20-30 range, and then this would be a different discussion.
