so that explains it!!!
:laugh2:

Actually I used to think some of my off beat behavior was attributed to smoking pot at a young age when me and my younger brothers would raid my older brothers stash. I started noticing my paper route (Herald Examiner), was starting to suffer towards my 12th birthday when I would get calls from my Collection Agent that I was missing a few deliveries, and that never happened when I didn't smoke out.... So I put 2and2 together and came to the conclusion it was my older brothers Columbian Gold that was causing the problem so I quit and haven't dragged a joint since the age of 11.

I can eat a whole bag of Taco flavored Doritos in 45 minutes, but Taco Bell has to be the worst fast food Mexican place ever. :sick2: If I gotta do fast food Mexican, I roll to Del Taco.
He’s never been to the monstrosity known as Jimboy’s. But yes, Taco Bell’s tortillas don’t even taste like food. More like a cross between cardboard and Taki’s.

My understanding of the rules are, if the guy is a runner helmet to helmet is not flagged.
There is no helmet to helmet call. It’s officiated the same from youth to the pros. It is illegal to make forcible contact with your helmet to another player. It may be ruled as unnecessary roughness, targeting or hitting a defenseless player. Sometimes a combination of the three and can lead to a disqualification if flagrant, and especially if a player launches.

On Smith’s play, it’s a UNR as the defender initially made contact with the helmet lowered and tackled high creating contact with the helmet.

If it’s incidental helmet to helmet contact, I’ll talk to both players after the play and ask them to keep their heads up.

I thought some of the missed throws were due to pressure. Unlike, Darnold, who held on to the ball too long only to throw off his back foot, losing velocity and accuracy … resulting in four difference-making interceptions, Stafford got the ball out … avoiding sacks, hits and, most importantly, turnovers.

Also thought some of the drops were on throws that were a little off because of the above referenced pressure and Stafford getting the ball out early.

As for Nacua’s fumble, it looked like he had the ball tucked high and tight … exactly where it should be … but Cobie Bryant made a perfectly executed Peanut Punch.

I thought one of the best defenses in the NFL … the Seahawks … was very impressive.
Just re-watched the Seattle game; and I feel even stronger about the points above.

Just one example to the above highlighted-comment.
3rd-and-long, mid-3rd quarter. Stafford hits Adams in the hands over the middle for what would-have-been a first down but Adams did not hold-on to the ball.

Stafford was pressured up-the-middle by Leonard Williams and drilled. The ball had to come-out a fraction of a second early, and Stafford could not step into the throw. The pass was about two feet behind Adams who reached-back, got both hands on the ball but could not make the catch, as two defenders converged.

It was catchable but a tough catch. The pass was a little off. However, it was the pressure by Williams.

Also, in my opinions ... Forbes had a very solid game in coverage (especially in man coverage on JSN) and tackling; and Havenstein seemed very limited.

Many of us noted that Havenstein got beaten badly on several pass rushes but his mobility also seemed limited in run-blocking where he appeared unable to push-off defenders because he couldn't plant-and-drive. His effective blocks were based mostly on position ... in my opinion.

Who here remembers the Bell Beefer? That and the encherito with olives, sour cream, onions, and tomato were the only two items I would order back in the day.

So every night then?

Agreed. Taco Bell used to have flavor. Now it’s just bland crap. I go to Del Taco every now and then. Their taco meat is what Taco Bell used to taste like. They also have a green been burrito like Taco Bell used to. That makes my wife happy. And you know what they say about a happy wife. ;)
I used to manage a Taco Bell across the street from my house while in High School (yes, I lied and said I was 18 so I could close at 2am on weekends). I agree it is very different today.

Although it's true I didn't eat Taco Bell for about 10 years afterwards, I still loved the combo burrito and mourned the day they retired the best deal in fast food history. Now I have to pay way more for a Burrito Supreme to get way less taste.

My family is big on the Mexican Pizzas though. Fun Fact: When I managed that Taco Bell, the Mexican Pizza wasn't a thing but I made a version using the Tostada shells that the locals loved even though I charged them way more than the 2 tostadas it took to make them.

So basically, I invented that menu item.

The game is worth talking about...but lets be frank, Seattle played really hard, as they knew exactly what was on the line, just as our Rams knew.

I hadn't seen Seattle play one game this year and I wondered if they were legit defensively...THEY ARE...BUT...that simply makes me circle the next meeting in Seattle.

That game will be different. I felt that McVay throttled back his playcalls on offense...and I think he learned from that last Sunday. That's my viewpoint.

We fans have to focus now on the Bucs this week. Round 1 with the Hags belong to the Rams...BOTTOM LINE!!! :fistbump1::sunglasses:

You're right!

We can forget about Darnold seeing ghosts and throwing 4 picks. That helped.
We can forget about the storyline, "Seattle 'almost' won as they were lining up to kick the GW FG".
They didn't win and they were lining up to attempt, at best a 50/50 shot. Prior to Sunday there were 8 FG attempts from 60 yards and beyond with 4 of them successful. Now? Less than 50%.
The bottom line for me is our defense is every bit as good as Seattle's if not better. They were 1 of 4 inside the Red Zone and the Rams were 3 of 4.
So yeah circle the December meeting with Seattle and remember, we have the better offense and probably the better defense. If our special teams don't fook up, we should win that game too.

Bell Beefer was my go to on lunch break back in the mid seventies. Kind of a Sloppy Joe then they went to a lose the bun ad campaign. Encheritos were good too.
