If Bo Nix at basically the same height, weight, arm, and mobility can make it in this League there's no reason on green earth Simpson can't. He will. Didn't see the outrage when borderline stiffs Penix and McCarthy both went Top 12.

Actually a lot of football minds didn't agree with the Penix and McCarthy evaluations, it just happened to be a QB controlled class, everybody needed one. In fact, those 2 evaluations may be why MOST people seem to agree that Simpson ISNT a 1st round talent because of previous over-evaulations.

I watched damn near every Bama game last year, he got worse and worse as teams began to gain some film on him. The more the defense learned, the less effective Simpson was. On the other hand, the more film folks got on Mendoza just the opposite happened, he got better. I personally don't want the Rams to draft him, period, my eyes didn't lie last year. If he was so fucking good why did Jalen Milroe keep him on the bench for 2 years? Orlovsky always says the dumbest shit out loud for clicks because most of his comments get shit on by his fellow football analysts, hes a damn flake in my eyes and I NEVER take his comments seriously. He does know football, just stupid as fuck trying to be relevant.

So how much does weapons, oline and coaching contribute? Not to mention the number of career starts.

McShay and others look at things like process, mechanics, teammates, defense, scheme etc. I'm going to go with Todd on this one, and many others. He's more than proven to be a shrewd judge of Quarterbacks, the best, frankly.

Bucky Brooks newest mock has him going at 3. He also has us taking Muaiga (however TF you spell it). Tyson is gone at 9 and Lemon is only top 3 WR on board when we pick. I think Muaiga is good, but if we draft a OT in the 1st, he MUST be able to play LT IMO. AJ is my biggest concern on the line, healthwise.

Just heard McShay's latest on Simpson, he said Rams aren't taking him at 13. Says he IS going in the 1st round, mentioned Cleveland and/or Arizona trading into the 20's.to get him.
