I retract multiple sources after misreading an aggregated report and not realizing it comes from a guy I consider a good kid but unreliable source.
It's not the same. We know what Stafford is. At the most important position. Yes the Rams have been doing real well in the draft, but prior to the last 2 drafts it has been a crap shoot. So, what is more unknown and more of a risk?
It is the same. No one can predict with any certainty how a year will go no matter who is on the team. What happens if Stafford is taken out by injury for the whole year? He does get nicked a lot and getting older doesn't help that.
He asked for more money not more weapons on offense. Kind of tells you his motivation.
I disagree. Lets hope whatever happens will end up being the best thing for the Rams.
I think outside voices, agents, family members, ect have a way of influencing players to think that money is what matters the most.
Eagles just won a Lombardi with a good running/avg passing QB, great RB and great OL/DL. Theres more than one way to skin a Lombardi. I love Staff but if he ain’t available the Rams offense needs to reinvent themselves. Strengthen the run game/TE play and they wouldn’t need an assassin passer like Staff. I for one was extremely disappointed with an offense that struggled so much in 2024. And it wasn’t Staffords fault.
That's ok too. No matter what we have zero control as to what happens or what the requests are or what the Rams are willing to pay. Unfortunately my tingling balls are going off and saying Stafford will be traded. Let's hope that it's good value or my new body wash
Yeah - I don't even think Stafford was that great a lot of last year.
All the evidence seems to say otherwise. If it wasn't money, the deal would be done by now. Why else are the Rams discussing trade parameters with teams?
Our overall roster on offense is far behind the Eagles.
No it doesn't go poof lmao, that's fear of losing Stafford talking.....what if the defense steps up even more? What if we get even more impact FA signings or draftees that make the team way better overall? Have we not learned anything when everyone thought the Rams sould be the worst team in the NFL?
Resign AJax. Draft OHampton/RB and Loveland/TE and it can catch up quick.

The reason we have stayed someone relevant is that with the other fluctuations - we had Stafford in 23 and 24.
