Reeder makes plenty of plays. He also makes plenty of mistakes. He's a high IQ average linebacker and a great teammate.

Hahaha, I mean, I just think people went nuts on a guy who had some very big marks against him that showed well in one game but didn't necessarily have the camp before that to show that he was an ascending player.

He is a great story and I think there may be a spot for him on the PS (if injury doesn't derail) as he's an amazing competitor and may serve well on scout team work.

I guess there could be a lane for this guy to be a good backup but I just think it's way smaller than other people.

Fair enough. I figured it was you reacting (overreacting?) to everyone else's overreaction. I know I overreacted. After the first preseason game, I was ready to say he made the squad. In hindsight, that was a tad premature.

I feel he has talent and hope he makes the PS.

Like pretty much everyone I'm really surprised that Paul didn't beat out Reeder. Think it's a mistake and he has more talent. I'm hoping he makes the PS and who knows down the road.
But, that being said, the roster seems super solid and has good depth. Can't say I've ever been this excited to get the season started and see how it all pans out.
Let's go!

McClendon is much better at Right Tackle, where Havenstein may miss a couple games ... it's wise to keep two veterans with Left Tackle experience in Humphries and Quessenberry ... Left Tackle is Really Important especially with Stafford's back which also may be a season-long-issue

just a note but Jourdan made it sound like they were very pleased with a new regimen for Alaric and bloodclots with words like "miraculous" being thrown around

I honestly don’t know but I’m not sure I trust the Rams FO on their eye for talent with ILB. They don’t seem to care about the position.

I’m just putting it out there. What if… E Jones isn’t traded and he is the difference in beating the Eagles? I like what I saw from Paul. It’s been a long time since I thought that about Reeder. It was the one game, where he had 3 sacks. Lightening didn’t strike twice :-)

You're right. Much ado about nothing. I was a fan of drafting Paul, but I would be shocked if he ever amounted to anything more than a JAG in this league.

Guessing Murchison would likley be the odd man out if they claim someone.

Thinking a young CB could be added if they like one of them....hopefully one with size.

Yeah and having Evans on the team was for the betterment of the team.

Sometimes the coaches have blinders on certain players and I just have no idea why.

I can see a CB being added, too.

People may be disappointed to learn that Murchison is likely ahead of Desjuan Johnson in the DL hierarchy. Murchison sat in preseason game 3 while DJ was fighting for his (roster) life.

Murch (2nd string) is also listed ahead of DJ (3rd string) on the unofficial depth chart.

I hate that theory and it’s driving me crazy the number of times you are repeating it! Even though you are probably right! :-)
