KW needs to treat this next game like he did the game after his fumbling issues made us all talk about it. He clearly wrapped up the ball with both arms after that game.
I believe it was against the Eagles where he had the issue.
Change the script in this one. No fumbles. Sell out to stop Barkley. The DBs need to play with the fire they showed Monday night. No soft zone converges unless we are up big. Get pressure with 4-5 guys and do not try and arm tackle Hurts. Clean, sound tackles on that guy. Break down if you have too. Do not worry about the big hit. Keep him contained and put the game on his shoulders.
Do that, we will be fine.

Rams have no room for error vs Philly because they are a threat to us in both trenches. One fumble could be the difference. So if they don't protect the ball they will almost certainly go home.

But this doesn't just apply to Williams. It applies to all these guys, including Stafford. I think it is important to be in the plus column in turnovers from here on out.

It wasnt a fumble he was hit and when he hit the ground the ball came out. No fumble
Bruh, it was a fumble, haha. I love KDub btw, and want him extended.... But that would have been ruled a fumble had they reviewed it. Period.

Yeah, 2 fumbles by kw and Staff. Not called helped us tremendously. We deserve breaks as much as the next guy, it was just our turn. Plus the refs tried to f us over anyway.

That wasn't a fumble by Stafford. As inept as the refs were, they got that one right. He shoveled the ball into the general area of Puka. Clear forward pass. As for Kyren, when he did the split, that wasn't a fumble either. I couldn't tell on the one where Puka jumped on the ball.

Yeah, the one where he did the split didn't look like a fumble to me. The other one did when they played it back in slow mo.

I noticed the updated cap numbers on OTC. It shows Williams with a $5M plus cap number for next year. I wonder if that was due to incentives earned? Because Durant, drafted a round earlier, only has a cap number of $3M next year. And $5M is way out of the ordinary for a 5th rd pick on the last yr of his deal.

BTW, the Rams cap space is down to $46M for 43 rostered players, but they can redo Stafford's deal if he intends to keep playing and open up much more cap room. Probably could tweak Kupp's deal as well, among a few others.

No the Stafford play was not a fumble. Some people think it was because he flipped it instead of throwing over the top. It doesn't matter how you throw it as long as its tossed forward. Underhanded is still a pass. Now there could be an argument made for intentional grounding. But I believe the Rams ended up punting on that drive anyway.

Fact: Neither was a fumble. 0 fumbles. Zero fumbles. No fumbles.

Observation: Don’t let the ball come loose…period. We don’t need refs calling a fumble when it wasn’t because the ball came loose which they judged as a fumble.

Note: Viking TE also lost a ball but his knee was correctly ruled down before the ball came loose.

Far enough, but did you see Kyren Williams fumble I believe late in the first half ? Parkisian recovered it ? I don’t know which way the Ref ruled it ? Kyren was saying he was down,it didn’t matter. In fact I believed they brought the ball back a yard,so it actually hurt The Rams.
—Point being word games or not Kyren Williams fumble the ball.If you go back, and watch the play you should see that it’s out.If course it’s a judgment play.

Looked at the box score to make sure if the call, and it wasn’t ruled a fumble ? That’s always interesting now a days with newer replay rules. If the Vikings recovered the football IMO it would have been ruled that way, because they can review that ? Other wise it penalizes that team(vikes).

The one Kyren Williams sort got hurt on he made sure his knee was down. That was Freaking Scary.WoW - his legs and knees bendythe way they were & then bodies falling on you ??Not good, but Kyren does have fumbling issues.

Kyren being aware and seeing it on tape will only help the issue. It’s not always an easy task,so I hope that doesn’t become an issue.

Except that Puka and Kyren were literally a yard away from that ball when it landed.

I've seen intentional grounding called on Stafford more than once when he threw it downfield, receiver turned the wrong way and the flags came out. But on those plays, Stafford was not being pressured or in danger of being sacked. What pisses me off is that I don't see it called too often on other QBs.

Hate to be a broken record but the first whiner's game, Purdy was tapped on the back by Verse as he was going out of bounds. Yellow flags all over the place but it was picked up because one ref said Purdy was still in bounds when he got a light tap on the back while going out of bounds. Same thing happens to Stafford later in the game and Stafford was out of bounds and no flags.

I love how everyone is complaining about Kyren Fumbles that were, or were not there. Its easier to get fumbles if you have more snaps than 90% of NFL. 'Hell, Darnold should have 4 that game!

Dickerson Avg a season was 7.1 Fumbles his entire career! Avg was 12 a season with us! Jackson Max was 4 fumbles a season, but that was a season he had 300+ attempts( only had 2). Faulk fumbled 13 times in his first 2 seasons with half of the carries Kwill has!

Kyren has quite a few explosive plays, but I can count at least 2 in this game alone that were called back. Go ahead and dont sign him. He will go elsewhere and kick our ass for years!

Imaging what Saquon and Henry would do behind a useless o'line! Oh, they couldnt! Please stop with the Kwill hate and worry about the O'line stupidity! Kwill is just as good as these two! Literly has better avgs in first two seasons than most of our Runningbacks ever.

As are your passive aggressive comments
Nothing passive aggressive and no attacks. Just laughing at the lengths some are going to in defending and attacking a player.

As much as I want to support a Rams player who I genuinely do believe in as a cornerstone piece for the future, you've lost the plot if you think he's on the same level as Henry or Barkley...

You’re dead on. We can go by the box score or our own eyes.
Saying he didn’t fumble on that play when Nacua recovered is like saying BY didn’t commit a face mask on darnold in the first matchup.
We all saw it. It just didn’t get called.

The 1st quarter play (Rams' 2nd possession) where the ball came-out but Nacia fell on it was absolutely a fumble.

I have re-watched the game twice, and it's not debateable. The refs missed the call but it was moot because of the Nacua recovery. Had a Vikings' player recovered, the play would have been challenged and ruled a fumble / Minneosta recovery. Without the challenge, the refs blown call stood; and, thus, the box score does not reflect a fumble.

The 2nd time Williams lost the ball (when he fell in an awkward position) was really close; and I am still not certain. The ruling was that his shin hit the ground before the ball came loose.

I think the Stafford play (no fumble/incomplete pass) was technically correct but the Rams still caught a break.
