This has been repeated over and over.
They cut him now, it’s a 22+ mill dead cap hit.
If cut after the roster bonus Is due, it’s 24+ mill

SO (RAM) - really - f-g get a clue if you think that is going to happen?
Then again who am I.What we know is he is gone.

IMO - which is really, not much ? But think The Rams are smarter & better than that. I’d think another team could take another bad contract of there books which could improve The Rams. ????

A trade would be great. But I'm thinking it won't happen. Apparently there were a few teams that were interested in a trade last year. Now they no longer have interest. Sure seems like cutting him is the more likely scenario.

After hearing Charles Robinson's comments about how Kupp was a shell of himself when he came back (and many of us saw the lack of production even if we weren't grading his every play game to game), I truly wonder if a trade happens or it's just a cut.

I think the Rams don't bring him back cause he really doesn't have a ton more to offer, at least unless it was on a contract insultingly low compared to what he's getting now.

no doi. your sarcasm meter needs calibration or you didn't see the original thread.
Apparently you don't understand how I comment. I get the sarcasm which is why there is a laughimg emoji at the end of what I said. I did that because of how hard they will laugh at us and how funny I find the comment. AKA actually enjoyed the comment.

Love Cooper Kupp but it’s time to end the drama and speculation and release him. Any trade will require the Rams to pay a good portion of his salary. Why not just let him go and he can try to find a team that is willing to pay him. Rams have taken good care of Kupp. They redid his contract after his great 2021 season and he’s made north of 75 million dollars in the past 3 seasons despite not being available due to injury and simply not the same player because of the injuries. Cut him loose now so he can choose his own destination. Rams have done enough for Kupp and shouldn’t hamstring their team building because they want to do him a solid on the way out. He’s going to get the money they owe him regardless. Time to turn the page. Good Luck Cooper but we got a business to run. End the drama. Move on.

After taking time to absorb this TRADE news, I've come to the realization that I'M STILL FUCKING PISSED.

What are we doing?

KEEP KUPP.

You play to win the game.

Quite possible. After hearing that the teams who were interested before the deadline are no longer interested, I'm thinking that will be the case. Why give up assets and assume that contract when you can just wait for him to be cut? And sign him for a lot less.

If teams thought he was capable of putting up solid numbers, teams would have treated him like a priority free agent.

I suppose it can happen but I'll be surprised if they find a trade partner. For sure no one's gonna take on that contract. They'll have to eat some of it. But even with that I have a feeling he'll be cut. A shame though. I'm one who wants to keep him one more year. One more shot at seeing if can still be a viable 90 plus catches 1200 plus yards receiver.

I'd also love to keep him. The contract is the really big holdup unfortunately.

So even being somewhat invisible this year. He was still #2 looking at his stats.

While he's being paid like a #1 (He damn well earned it). He ended up being #2 with all the other guys on WR roster on top of him missing games? Throws great blocks, mentored Puka to what he is and possibly the next gen batch of WRs we get, Still has pretty good rapport with Staff if Puka isn't available. Yeah I'd keep Kupp than no Kupp for the savings. I just dont see us getting anything trade/draft pick wise for him that would be worth it. If Staff was retiring I would say yes, let him go.

In McVay and Les we trust I guess...
I know im in minority but I don’t think he earned that’s why they trying to trade him and get off some of the money out of his career he’s had 3 1000 yard season and he was hurt/injured

I wonder if the Rams approached Pittsburgh about a Kupp for Pickens trade. Now that would be incredibly interesting IMO. I bet Sean could get the most out of Pickens and I think he has a lot to give.
