I think regardless of wins the rest of the season they draft a QB this year. Two first rounders ours looking like middle of the round and theirs should get them their guy with a good QB draft this year. Even if they win out which with that defense will never happen.
Maybe but the Lions were leading the league in scoring until they lost Brown and Swift

And just to add - the Lions really need to focus on defense in this year's draft

The Lions problem has been their defense (34 ppg allowed, last in the league by a good margin).
That is insanely bad... like record breaking I am wondering? I went and looked at the last ten years and the last place team in ppg allowed usually hovers just under 30. The next closest ironically was the 2020 Lions at 32.4.

Imagine if he had a top 5 defense. Or even a #1 overall! Not like he hasn't had one of those before.

Yeah they have holes in the defense but I also think they need to fire their DC. Been saying that for a while now. Great guy I am sure but he is not up to snuff calling it.

If Campbell isn't decisive he's going to be the next coach to fail in Detroit.

I just read the Goff had two fumbles yesterday in addition to two interceptions. Yikes.

Pretty much what Stafford had when we played the boys. Their defense is top notched, best in the league as I said prior to our game with the boys. Some people replied saying the niners were the best. The niners D hasn't looked that good the last couple of weeks.

Yeah once the Cowboys got ahead, they stampeded Goff and he doesn't do well with pressure.

Apparently Dan Campbell has said if you can't hold on to the football you can't play for us without naming names.
So I guess Matt Stafford couldn't play for Dan Campbell either.

He has the same number of fumbles as Jared Goff in 2022

It's about wins and right now the Lions only have one. It isn't on one person, however, if the Lions continue to lose, they will be drafting in the upper tier and thus IMO, they will draft a QB. Now the WR core has been hit with injuries similar to the Rams OL, so you have to factor that into your evaluation too.

Giving up 34 points a game - you are not going to win many games

The defense has been playing well lately and played well against Dallas. Lions just turned the ball over too many times. It was Williams too at the goal line who fumbled going into the endzone.

Dallas has a tough defense. How well did we do?

And giving up 29 points to a 3rd string QB for the Patriots is not doing well lately.

In addition, Dak was extremely rusty in the first half and finally started playing well in the 2nd half.

Fair enough, we will see how the Lions play at home against Miami on Sunday.
