That was a very depressing loss. I felt it. Big time. Felt fixed like they planned on the Eagles to win. NFL/Refs/Possible Coach McVay and Possible Stafford. Felt like the fix was in. NFL isn't a sport it's entertainment.
I would hope that it's not. That somehow the what you see by players and staff are real. Not a preset plan. But really felt that way.
I dont think McVay has ever let up to protect feelings or show any kind of mercy. Its the NFL and defenses are PAID to do their jobs.
No mercy, ever.
Who cares about "feelings" ??
We had this game. It was ours with a high percentage FG to win the game and our kicker was blocked from 41yards. We can all argue about McVay's play calling, but none of that would have mattered if we made that kick.
The other true statement is that no lead is safe with McVay as HC. He doesn't like to pile on the other team when we are up two scores or more. It doesn't matter if the other team is good or bad, he changes the play calling that often results in 3 and outs or FGs. Then the other teams race up in scoring to cause us all heartburn.
This was the worst Rams' loss in the regular season that I can remember. I am not watching any sports show this week at least, maybe more. I may not post here much...we'll see.
Be glad you don't live in the Philly market. For me it went from being a glorious week, listening to local shows as well as the national ones, to now shutting everything off and focusing instead on my stock investing, fishing, and making dumb comments on here.We had this game. But we didn’t, though.
If you go back and watch those games, it was backups fighting to score, not McVay pressing to drop a 50 burger on purpose. He’s never pressed when up 3 scores…ever. He’s always gone conservative and this isn’t the first game that’s gotten away from him doing that.
We just have to make peace that he’s never gonna be that guy who presses for 60 minutes and will score as much as he can.
All of our 50 point games have been happy accidents except for the 54-51 game against the Chiefs.
Ram Brother I hear you. I place the results of the game on McVay. This one hurt after settling for FGs over TDs in the first half. IMO I'd like to see McVay switch things up against a few of these teams that seem to have his number. We had this game.
