What exactly does that mean?
If the Rams select a guy at #26 who fits in that range, does it evoke jubilation or disappointment?
I’m not overly concerned at this point regarding the Rams first selection because of where he is ranked—whether it’s by one of us armchair GMs, or the “professional” armchair GMs. My concern is simply whether or not the Rams got a really good player. That sounds obvious, but ideally you want more than just a good player in the 1rst round, you want an above average starter. If the Rams can do that in a draft that supposedly has only 15 high end players, I’m good because I doubt the top 15 players from this draft are gonna be mostly comprised of the consensus top 15 and if the Rams select outside of that consensus there will be the predictable second guessing and low draft grades.
