I really hope Brown is going to be ok
Rams head coach Sean McVay on Monday said nose tackle Bobby Brown III suffered a hyperextended knee against the Giants, but "should be good to go" for this week.

"We were fearful that it might have been something worse," McVay said during a video conference with reporters. "He might be limited in practice, but we expect him to be good to go this week."

If he hyper-extended his knee, why would you play him this Sunday... not so sure about that decision... it's an injury that could benefit from more than 1 week of rest.

I'm guessing he would play if the medical staff decides he's good to go

I’m guessing it’s just more addressing the severity of the injury… more than any clear indication of what will happen next week.

It's amazing that Kobie has tied Donald's rookie record for most sacks in a season. He has 3 more than the eagles rookie phenom.

Unfortunately, I think he will not get enough votes to beat out Jalen Carter for DROY though I think he's been as good. Carter more talent .... but Turner is almost as good a player, more consistent

That's a shame he might lose out to hype considering he's been more productive overall. If he gets another next week and has double digit sacks but still loses to Carter with 6 sacks that would be a robbery

I don't care about Jalen Carter. Kobie Turner could be our next AD. And that is awesome!

Ask any QB what is the kind of pressure they hate the most. The answer will be interior pressure coming right at them. People decry the lack of edge pressure the Rams get. But they have two of the best IDL in Donald and Turner. They are good enough to beat any three center and OGs. They proved that on Sunday. Young and Hoecht just need to play contain first, pressure second.

Yeah the Rams lack a second edge but they have something better. Most teams focus on spending money on OTs. IOL is one of the most overlooked units on most teams. That is the strength of the Rams pass rush. Sprinkle in an occasional blitz by Jones and the Rams can get to most QBs in the way they hate the most.

Looking at these two guys it's clear Donald is preparing to pass the mantle to the conductor. Until that happens, the Rams will have a fearsome interior DL pass rush as good as any two edges. Now throw in Young and the Rams have 3 legit pass rushers.

IMO Morris is wasting his DL by playing two gap with them. Even Brown showed he can be a factor if allowed to single gap. If Morris will simply shift to a one gap front we would see dramatic improvement. With these two the pocket can become the "danger zone" (cue in the music).

Morris has become predictable. All OCs know Morris will almost always play two gap mixed DL front on first downs. That's why so many pass on that down because the QB isn't going to get a lot of pressure. Morris is conceding a minimum of 2-3 yards with that scheme. How many times has it kept offenses behind the chains? Look at how many third and shorts the Ram D faces. They seem to face more than most. IMO that isn't a good way to stop an offense. If the offense doesn't make a mistake they will simply roll over the defense no matter who you have.

IMO Morris should be playing to keep the offense off schedule. That's how IMO you force turnovers and punts.

With Donald and Turner they have the IDL to make offenses be off schedule as these two are OL beaters.

That’s so LAUGHABLE!

You & your Raheem love.

Turner having his "The Conductor" moniker is awesome and another Rams legend in the making.
Elroy "Crazy Legs" Hirsch will always be my favorite Rams legend name. Maybe the best nickname ever on any team.

There won't be another AD for quite awhile. He's a generational talent and first-ballot HOFer. But if Kobie can be a great DT, we'll be in a good spot.

Right on. He may end up being at the Atkins or Fletcher level if he keeps working at it.

I think Turner is heading toward being a top 10 tackle.
He's performing as well as some of the premier guys, for sure. No one is a better value, that's for sure.

And the great thing about Kobie is that he won't only be a pass rusher. He can defend the run.

This is a play by Young, but Donald gets assist. Rams in 3-4 ... over shifted towards the extra TEs ... Johnson is coming down (look to the far right) so Taylor cannot keep the ball - on zone read ... Johnson would nail him. So he gives the ball to RB. Young does niot have contain responsibility because of JJIII and he crashes and gets the TFL.

Donald on the line slant (notice the all go towards the left side?) wins and mucks up the play

Wouldn't it be insane for the Rams to have the Off & Def ROY in Puka and Turner?
