He's a kid. Kids do stupid things. But he didn't hurt anyone.
Why you were okay with someone after a DUI? I hope you're listening to yourself here...90% of the people on this site could have gotten a DUI in their lives, a lot of them probably have.
Akers seemed to be an actual locker room problem. We don't know that Kendrick is....you're projecting because he got arrested.
Whoa there Kemosabe.Lovely. Go fuck yourself, Kendrick, you selfish asshole.
Whoa there Kemosobee
Small suspension without pay is about the best we can hope for then.Sounds like he is facing 2 misdemeanor gun charges. Not being charged with a felony.
Rams' Derion Kendrick faces two misdemeanor gun charges
Rams starting corner Derion Kendrick, 23, was charged Monday with carrying a concealed weapon and carrying a loaded firearm.www.latimes.com
That is good news. I hate to see a felony charge slapped on a person for a victimless crime.Sounds like he is facing 2 misdemeanor gun charges. Not being charged with a felony.

It means “Faithful Friend.”Kemosobee? I'm...admittedly confused.
I don’t have much reason to argue with you. What you’re saying is pretty sensible. It has to be insane the amount of hops some people need in order to mount their high horses.
I have no tolerance for domestic abuse and plenty of other messed up crimes that seem to get swept under the rug by the league unless there's video evidence of it. This is a victimless crime I can live with. Kendrick needs to pay the consequences for a dumb mistake and then everyone can move on and get over it.
All I can say is...the judgement that put him in this position after one conviction is an issue they need to get some resolution on as an organization, imo.
Excellent post. All I can say is...
After Aqib Talib had that "chain snatching incident" and then was drunk on his ass and shot himself in the leg... I thought NO WAY do I want this belligerent dumbass on our team. But then he joins the Rams and turns into a great player and a team leader.
And after Odell Beckham pulled all that prima donna shit and even got into a "fight" with a kicking net on the sidelines... I thought NO WAY do I want that pompous idiot on our team. But then he joins the Rams and turns into a great player and a team leader.
My point being... young professional athletes can do some really stupid immature shit. Sometimes they learn from their mistakes... and sometimes they don't. (Greg Robinson, raise your hand).
Which way will it go with Kendrick? Hard to predict. He's got a trail of discipline issues going back to Clemson. Sounds like the kid grew up in a rough neighborhood in SC. Will this be the "wake-up call" for DK? He's surrounded by good coaches and good players in a solid organization. And he seems like a competitor who wants to make it.
Maybe he'll grow up, maybe he won't. But I thought Talib and OBJ were lost causes, and they turned things around.
