I'm not saying he is stupid, but he has exhibited extremely poor judgement. Give me a break the guy is a professional football player; is he too scared to drive around without a gun?

He's a kid. Kids do stupid things. But he didn't hurt anyone.

Why you were okay with someone after a DUI? I hope you're listening to yourself here...90% of the people on this site could have gotten a DUI in their lives, a lot of them probably have.

Akers seemed to be an actual locker room problem. We don't know that Kendrick is....you're projecting because he got arrested.

Why? Because it was a one-time thing. And I know I haven't had a DUI; I don't drive, never have, never wanted to. Forgive me for sounding pretentious, but I have little tolerance for DUIs because, guess what, they fucking kill people. One time, I can forgive, but if you continuously drive drunk - especially after you kill someone like Leonard Little did - I have no patience for you. I lost a close friend to that. Many parents have lost sons and daughters to drunken idiots on the road.

And a kid? He's a fucking adult. He did something that he did in college where - you know - he was an adult there, showing he obviously didn't learn his lesson. It's not that he didn't hurt anyone; it's that he didn't learn from the circumstances that his second chance cleared him from. He's an adult, not a kid, and thus, will - and should - have adult consequences.

And you don't think that "We, Not Me" figures into this? You really think McVay can't replace him in an instant? He's gone. I'm not projecting because he got arrested; I'm projecting because he just blew the chance of a lifetime.

If nothing else, it shows that he has extremely poor judgement and a lack of appreciation for the opportunity he has to be a part of the NFL. Just a want to be gangster who is just an idiot, plain and simple, his mother must be proud.

I think DCs actually game plan his issues. Take him deep and throw the pass if the safeties are late. Either they get the completion or Kendrick will commit a PI. Two different games with two different DC's with the same scenarios. A lot of times when you look at replays even when it isn't called he's being grabby because he can't stay with faster WRs. We saw that last year as well. Yet Morris keeps saying he's good and trotting him out there.

Bottom line is that if Kendrick doesn't play another game for the Rams many here won't miss him.

Sounds like he is facing 2 misdemeanor gun charges. Not being charged with a felony.

That is good news. I hate to see a felony charge slapped on a person for a victimless crime.

He caught a break. I hope he can pull up from this.

I was young and dumb once. Caught a few breaks. All you can do is take your punishment and vow to change. Best of luck to this young man.

It has to be insane the amount of hops some people need in order to mount their high horses.

I have no tolerance for domestic abuse and plenty of other messed up crimes that seem to get swept under the rug by the league unless there's video evidence of it. This is a victimless crime I can live with. Kendrick needs to pay the consequences for a dumb mistake and then everyone can move on and get over it.

I don’t have much reason to argue with you. What you’re saying is pretty sensible.

My biggest problem, based on what we know, is that this would be a second gun crime. As you said, victimless… but the judgement that put him in this position after one conviction is an issue they need to get some resolution on as an organization, imo.

All I can say is...

After Aqib Talib had that "chain snatching incident" and then was drunk on his ass and shot himself in the leg... I thought NO WAY do I want this belligerent dumbass on our team. But then he joins the Rams and turns into a great player and a team leader.

And after Odell Beckham pulled all that prima donna shit and even got into a "fight" with a kicking net on the sidelines... I thought NO WAY do I want that pompous idiot on our team. But then he joins the Rams and turns into a great player and a team leader.

My point being... young professional athletes can do some really stupid immature shit. Sometimes they learn from their mistakes... and sometimes they don't. (Greg Robinson, raise your hand).

Which way will it go with Kendrick? Hard to predict. He's got a trail of discipline issues going back to Clemson. Sounds like the kid grew up in a rough neighborhood in SC. Will this be the "wake-up call" for DK? He's surrounded by good coaches and good players in a solid organization. And he seems like a competitor who wants to make it.

Maybe he'll grow up, maybe he won't. But I thought Talib and OBJ were lost causes, and they turned things around.

Sorry, but to be pulled over, with a gun in your car, late at night. You have to be a complete MORON.
