Saddened by his death. Twenty-four is too young, suicidal thoughts and mental illness as a whole are not talked about nearly enough, and I hope that whatever demons he had are gone in the next life.

May he rest in peace and paradise.

Good lord::crying:

I have dealt with two suicides in my life..... one of them my uncle Tommy (my dads side) committed suicide in 1971 right after coming back from serving in Vietnam. I think that was the only time I saw my pops cry as my pops came back from service in Vietnam in 1968.

And my pal Julian in 2014.... I knew him from 1st grade and we used to fly out to St. Louis to watch the Rams.... Devastating :crying:

This is terrible. This young man had a lot of life ahead of him. Very sad for his family, friends and teammates.

Just really rough. It’s hard to fathom what could have led him to this end. Real sad.

Sad. Feel for his family. Hard not to think this could be CTE related

CTE typically has a delayed onset, years or even decades after the head injuries.

His girlfriend says he had a "history of mental illness," but I haven't seen much detailed info yet.

Sad story.

Yes, but these are men who have, in many cases, played football since they were 5 or so. I'm not saying this IS CTE, just that it is hard not to wonder.
