I loved Mel Owens. Played high school football when he was drafted/played. Loved his look...he just looked like a bad ass linebacker. Now, I played inside backer, but wanted Owen's number. Some kid on my team (Robert Frick) took 58. I was so pissed, so I settled on 53 for my jersey number...close enough, right?

Simpson was one of my favorite players as a kid. He was very consistent. A playmaker too.
