I wonder why he hasn't been named coach of the year. Everyone talks about how great he is but it doesn't happen. The last 2 years he coached his ass off.
Happy birthday man. Hope it was a good day.I had a birthday today November 14th, and I too remember them all since George Allen in 1970. I hope McVay stays for a long long time.

It is and I agree about my wife! She’s getting younger, it seems.I am also almost 66 ... also have seen them all since (and including) George Allen ... also have soft spots for those mentioned (and a couple not mentioned) ... AND, could not Agree More about Sean McVay.
By-the-Way, if that is a fairly recent photo of you in front of SoFi (with that lovely lady) ... then you are aging much better than me ... and ...

I don't see it that way.#1 McVay is the best rams coach in my lifetime (59 years old going on 60) Note the management and front office are also the best I have seen as well.
#2 I would have liked to see what Dick Vermeil could have done if he had decided not to leave after the super bowl in 1999-2000 (In spite of the ownership)
#3 I liked John Robinson especially with Zampese as the OC but I feel like he was handcuffed by ownership and front office at that time.
Martz was able to do well initially because of Vermeil's legacy talent.
The punt?Looking at it again, and the expressions on others faces, I’ll bet it was one of the shitty ass calls made by the zebras.
May he stay until he retires!!I don’t think there’s much question right now. And yes. He’s the best coach the Rams have ever had. And I think that is only going to build.
Yep. Often not mentioned but I don’t think really overlooked by true Rams fans, Snead has provided some pretty good tools for McVay - many of them under the radar. It’s a great duo.May he stay until he retires!!
Let's not forget Mr. Snead, though.
This thread & topic start as Mcvay the best ever HC. The purpose was forward thinking.Yep. Often not mentioned but I don’t think really overlooked by true Rams fans, Snead has provided some pretty good tools for McVay - many of them under the radar. It’s a great duo.
