haha tell us how you really feel!

Imagine if we beat the Niners. All the debbie downers, including me, would jump on the Super Bowl bandwagon lol.
We're not selling tickets to that train to any of you Debbies! Have to earn that shit not buy your way in! Just so frustrating ROD can't get away from doom and gloom even the day after a huge road division win to start the season the doomers are out and trying to bring the vibe down.

I don’t see a contradiction.

Both statements can be simultaneously true.

As to Dotson starting? Just speculation on my part. But surely they didn’t trade for him and his salary if they were fully satisfied with their other OG options…
Noteboom really came on strong and played well

Oh we're going to replace a guy coming on strong and playing well

Also listen to McVay

Rams replaced Anchrum who was coming on strong and playing well.

Look, I think Rams actually have 3 players that are starting caliber for RG.

Boom
Anchrum
Dotson

They should and will play whomever they most like vs any given opponent. Certainly a ‘champagne problem’.

As an aside, run blocking might be at a premium vs 49ers and run blocking is not Boom’s long suit. Just saying…

I’d rather develop synchronicity through continuity than tinker/mix and match at this stage. The OL is a unit, not a mere collection of individuals. If, after a few games, the coaches see a weak link, then it might be prudent to swap out one spot. For now, though, the unit ain’t broke so…

All our line sucked at run blocking! Also listen to McVay! Too many ignore what he says a few come up with their own wild ideas. Listen to McVay talk about the OL.

Nah fans ignore the coach and try to reinvent the wheel after one win!

It is very difficult to find OLmen that are equally good at run and pass blocking, they usually excel at one or the other.

Take what you want from it. I put in the effort to watch the lines after every game. Ive been doing it since 2005 and I just say what I saw. Can Joe get better? Maybe, but we've seen the same weaknesses since he's been here, so I doubt he suddenly puts it together. I'm sure he's a nice guy and I don't have anything personally against him. I worry that hrs going to get Stafford injured and that he is out there because of his contract. I hope I'm wrong because if he's not, then what is behind him on the depth chart is worse and they are stuck starting him.
You made your point. Time to stop beating a dead horse. Some may agree with your assessment. Others might have a different perspective. We get that you don’t like Noteboom. I’m sure that the Rams Offensive line coach has looked at a lot of film already on Sunday’s game. He will be the one who’s opinion matters. Let’s see what he thinks based on Sunday’s lineup.

I don't care what happens next week. They accomplished what I wanted them to accomplish. Of the 4 playoff teams in the first five games they got a win. I always said I would be happy if they were 2-3 over that stretch. The schedule gets easier after that. The bonus was they sure looked a lot better than I expected. Heck, they're even capable of going 3-2.

I evaluated the game and responded to replies. How is that beating a dead horse? I even said maybe he will improve since it was his first game at Right Guard.

You may be able to tell your wife and kids what to do but you can’t tell me what to do. I will continue to rewatch Oline play every week and give my opinions on this forum. If it bothers you so much there is least the ignore feature.

Do you have a source for that?

And, no, some me spotty virgin making shit up on Twitter doesn’t count.

Someone help me but didn't Snead and McVay say this? Jourdan said he was brought is as a backup.

Spotty virgin, that's a lotta self hate dude, maybe chill?

I’m neither spotty nor a virgin. So there’s no “self hate” involved.

I’m merely trying to establish if there is any evidence to support your hypothesis that McVay would have walked if we hadn’t added OL depth.

Did we replace Anchrum? I sound like a broken record but did you listen to McVay in camp talk constantly about Boom at RG?

Yes they did but it seems very few of us pay attention to the coach who makes these decisions.
