My wife came home during OT and probably couldn't understand why I was hyperventilating.

In honor of DRob's one-handed catch, I drank my Fireball whisky with one hand.

So many good plays and bad plays in one game (and bad calls)!

103 yard pick-six plus second pick in the same quarter - totally saw that coming.

I was at the game and I saw Havenstein standing on the sideline during the overtime--maybe that's good news

Why wasn't he on the field more? Every time I saw #39 in the middle of the defense I wanted to hit someone.

.
Speights seems to be a run defender more than a coverage guy... which is im thinking is why he wasnt in there much.

Yeah the Hoecht nosebacker thing works sometimes and makes the center think a bit, but I'd rather have Speights in there.

Went from finding a way to lose to finding a way to win. That's what it takes.

So... Any guesses on if/who we bring in before the deadline?

don't think hoecht and Speights play the same position.
You are correct. But the Rams on some downs of late have been standing Hoecht up in the middle and threatening A gaps then sometimes rushing and sometimes dropping off. And I'm not crunching film or anything, granted, but when he's done that Hoecht is in there as a fifth lineman. Which means he's in there over Speights.

I think McCollough was playing ALOT of LB today, wasn't he? I think Rozeboom was the only true ILB in there most of the game.

This defensive line is legit!

Shula and McVay alike both need props for their half time adjustments. We were getting way more pressure on Geno in the 2nd half. Offensively, meh overall, but credit McVay for coming out and running.

The Puka ejection was awful, but glass half full, we won without him and he got a light week to hopefully heal up a bit with.

4-4 and ready to battle for the division lead!

Anyone get word on Hav? Or when Avila and Jackson are back? Going down 3/5 starters on o-line again will be a tough spot. We play on Monday, so an extra day to heal. But the Dolphins have Tua back now so I am really worried about them. Hill, Waddle, Beckham... exactly the type of offense this team will struggle to defend - speedy WRs that can burn our guys deep before the d-line has a chance to get home. You think Smith-Njigba was painful to watch burn these guys? Wait until Hill and Waddle are doing it.

Rozeboom with his best game of the year IMO.

Stafford clutch when we needed him most but I thought he was off most of the night. Not as off as Geno thankfully.

Robinson looks worlds better when he isn't WR1. A completely different player when in a depth role. Let's hope Kupp and Puka stay healthy because D-Drob is a deadly WR3, mix in Tutu/Johnson/Whittington, and it's a killer WR room when at full strength.

Hope Wallace is okay. I have actually liked this game. Tough loss.

Refs were awful.
