Agreed, not sure why the refs decided that was completed. Challenges were huge but really unnecessary to my eye.
Seems like the Refs were tentative to make the tough calls after what happened to Jerome Boger's crew getting dismissed for the rest of the playoffs.

Does anyone know if there is a game replay anywhere on line yet? Would love to watch this one again.

Cards won 11 games in the toughest division in football. Ran into a better team in the playoffs. And it's all a failure. Sorry but that's some funny shit.
Yeah... I don't get the narrative that AZ shit the bed. We're capable of doing that to any team if we play up to potential.

GB on the road at Lambeau or SF at "home" will both be extremely tough games. I agree we have a great shot to beat TB, but man the NFCC game will be tough. Not sure who I would rather play in that game assuming we beat TB. SF fans will likely be 50/50 at least at SoFi and that might be a conservative estimate.
I don’t see them having that many fans for a playoff game at SoFi. The crowd was great last night.

I disagree. Cam's a fiery competitor. He's cocky. He talks shit to the defense, talks up the offense. He knows he's a badass. Ain't nobody gonna push that dude around.

You can't have enough guys like that. That dude is one mentally and physically tough MFer and I love that about him.
Totally agree! I don’t want Baker to be hurt but, Cam sent a message that the rest of the team needs to embrace. Not the same old finesse Rams.

I'm still amazed Cam can be back 6 or 7 months later after an achilles injury like that. I'm even more amazed how he looked with a significant amount of snaps. He looked every bit like the pre injury Cam Akers. As long as he stays healthy we have a top notch back to go with a high caliber quarterback and all pro weapon at receiver.

Absolutely! Tore the achilles tendon on my right leg at age 17 while playing high school soccer. The doc told me not to run on it again for at least 9 months. I ignored the advice and played in another soccer game sooner that I should have. While running down the field with no one around me it tore again. Idiot! I suspect the NFL has doctors, trainers, and physical therapists who know how to heal players like Cam Akers up fast. Admittedly I was nervous last night every time he ran the ball.

Local radio were all over Akers for this and the taunting non-call.

Akers quickly realized his mistake. I believe it was a moment of adrenaline vs any malicious disrespect. I more worried about Donald’s flareups. Really glad to hear Baker is doing well.

Without a doubt. We've seen enough by now of how Cam handles himself to know he's not a guy who would disrespect a hurt player.

Right now Tampa is watching film of our backs and thinking "Fuck!"

Why was it taking 3 officials and 5 minutes to make a decision on a hold? How many huddles did they need last night...?!

What about the offside call. They blew the whistle early instead of giving the Rams a free play then had a 5 minute discussion.

That was really frustrating. Stafford should have had a free shot and tbh when you have an aggressive QB like that with a big arm the refs blowing it dead is a big deal. And that is something they have been doing around the league all year. It's something they need to practice and be aware of in their ref meetings or whatever grabass sessions they have.

Man it's nice to have Akers back. I forgot what he could do until I watched highlights a few days ago. It was great to watch it in a live game again.

And I think it would probably be good to have Morris stick around for another year. Once he figured out the defense and the players he did much better. It would be nice to have continuity and see what he can do next year.
Now that we want him he'll leave.

Guaranteed if that was Aaron Rodgers they would have let the play go.

everything you said is true, but he can't look at the guy and do anything that looks like a taunt.
It must be one hell of a feeling to get a hit on a guy like that. Your adrenaline is pumping, all that, but you can't look like you are taunting. Got to control it.

The price of playoff tickets will be hard to pass up. Especially gouging SF fans. I expect it could be similar to last SF game.

That was the perfect gameplan for us. We play like we are tough to beat. Running first.

So many guys playing well
.. Ashawn... Reeder and Howard... Von.. Burgess and Scott played well...

And we have to keep our offensive gameplan exactly how its been....
