Wk 16 Winners Left: (Green is Favorable to US)
SF VS IND ( doesnt have to happen but will help)

WK 17:
LAR vs ATL
Sf vs CHI ( Must Happen to win Division)
Sea vs CAR ( doesnt need to happen but will help ALOT)

WK 18:
LAR vs Cards
Chi Vs Lions ( Must happen to get #1 Seed)
SF vs Sea ( Must to win Div)

If this Plays out we will win Tiebreaker Vs Sea for #1 seed and Division
If Chi wins out they get #1 Seed and We get 2nd seed

If 49ers win out they win #1 seed
If Sea wins out, they #1 Seed

I'm rooting hard for Tampa Bay today. If we play in the wild card round, at Tampa Bay is a good matchup for us.

There are going to be differing opinions on this.

I am on the fence of whether I would rather play TB or CAR. I am leaning CAR since there defense is probably worse.

I would rather play Tampa for the better weather factor. Also, a Tampa win today puts Carolina in "desperation" mode next week vs. Seattle.

Tampa Bay is OUR play today.

I feel like the ship has sailed on winning the division. Its mathematically possible but not likely. We need to secure the #5 seed. Then we go to either Carolina or Tampa. Carolina can be wet but not likely freezing. Tampa will be warm. I'd rather not go to Chicago, GB or Philly in the first round. I'd also prefer we be the lowest seed going into the second round. I think we would win in SF or Seattle.

Everyone with an equal or better record than us ties when they play each other - net gain, both lose ground to us
 
Everyone seems to not want us to go into a cold weather city for the playoffs. But I look at it a bit differently. I think Stafford is better than most throwing in bad weather but the biggest thing is that I think we hold up against the run better than most teams we might face. I actually think we might have the advantage in a poor weather game.

I think the Lions and Packers losing today secretly hurts us.

Root for the Packers next week - if they lose, and the Niners go 1-1 over the next two weeks, and Seattle beats Carolina - the Niners would be all but locked into the 6 seed and likely rest the last game.

Starting to feel like our only real shot is the Panthers beating the Seahawks

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing that a loss by the Niners to the Colts might actually hurt because they could lose any incentive to play starters vs Seattle. So the Panthers/ Seattle game will be huge, and then you need to hope the Bears or Colts can beat SF.

Assuming Seattle loses next week, I assume they could be motivated against SF if that last game is played the same time as the Rams/Cards game. If it's moved to the 8pm time slot, and the Rams beat the Cards, then Seattle may be locked into a WC if they lose to the Panthers next week. Then they would have no motivation to beat SF in thst last game. That's now assuming SF wins their next 2.

So a lot of ifs involved here and timing of teams losses and timing of when games are played that last week will be important.

Good chance the Rams play the Panthers in the wild card round.

If the rams win out, the seagulls or whiners are going to lose a game when they play each other. Either way the Rams should end up with the #5 seed.
