I don’t necessarily think Karen’s carries should be cut to give more, I think we just need to increase overall carries and give them to Corum.
I think he should eat into Kyren's carries. Kyre looking like ass vs Corum in terms of burst and results. So far,my opinion obviously lol....this is putting into question why we signed Kyren to an extension so soon.

Kyren has definitely had issues breaking tackles the first two games. I have hope that he will soon be able to pound out the 6 to 10 yard runs like he did a lot last year. The OL was definitely having trouble on opening holes yesterday and Corum's first run was the first run of the day that ran outside the tackles. Kyren's runs seem to be all inside.

1) you need at least 2 quality RBs (breather, change of pace, god bird in injury)
2) you need veteran play as the season progresses especially the “We not Me” kind
3) not sure I want any RB in the NFL other than KW to get 2-3 yards for a first down or TD
4) $11m/yr is good for KE and the Rams. Both sides content for next 2-3 years
5) hind sight is always 20/20, water under the bridge, etc, etc.

Was sitting in the stadium yesterday. Running lane were few and far between for Kyren. Defenses don't fear any outside runs from the Rams, so they make it hard for us.

Love what Blake adds to this team! ALL teams should have a two-headed monster. KW had some nice runs once the OL wore down the Titans DLine. BC too. Both great kids, it's what every team should want.

Like actually run the ball? Holy Shit! (blue font is bad for my eyes on the Midnight mode)

Totally dislike it as well.
P.S the midnight is cool but wears on you, at least it does me.
Bone is by far my favorite due to it being really easy to read, with the exception of the yellow print you guys used, that print is nearly unreadable.
Try the bone background, you may like it

Works well with Bone though

Kyren is the starter he has earned that, he is the goal line guy to he has earned that. He is the better blocker and generally runs patiently behind his blockers with great vision.

We haven't had much continuity on the O.L yet this year and I think that is part or maybe the majority of the problem.
Corum seems to do pretty well when the blocking isn't great and lanes aren't where they are supposed to be. He can use his burst and ad lib a little bit better than KW.

Our run game in the past has been designed to service a guy like KW that runs with discipline in the lanes that that they practice day in and day out making subtle adjustments and reads. McVay seems to very much be a guy that likes continuity and consistency and we haven't had it this season.

Use them both and ride the hotter hand, use KW more in the passing game and in short yardage and goal line and mix them both in when we are in the middle of the field and on schedule.

#1 get some consistency on the O.L and build some much needed continuity in the run game

look, I love Stafford, but I think he and (McVay) get to pass happy. he's going to be a hall of fame qb. But we really need to revamp the running game. now that Corum is showing his potential maybe we can now see more of Stafford's passes to Kyren and Corum in the flat, backfield etc. to complement their running styles? 2 good RBs in the backfield has to be advantages. Let's see how we go against the eagles. run game defense needs work still. Go rams.

1) We still would have 2 running backs regardless if Kyren wasn't extended. He wasn't going to sit out.
2) #1 would make this a moot point since Kyren would still be on the team
3) Once again, Kyren would still be on the team lol
4) It's still $11 mill invested into a position. If Kyren continues to not produce as well and Corum continues to outperform him (yes I know its a small sample size and still needs to be determined if that will continue to be true), then it makes the signing way more questionable.
5) Its not hindsight if a poster's original stance was to let Kyren play out the year before offering an extension. That's exactly what my stance was prior to the extension.

So just simply saying we should have waited to sign Kyren because there is a possibility that a 2nd year running back such as Corum would step up his game. You'd think the Rams would consider that when its exactly how Kyren came about.

You don’t agree with Kyren Williams being extended. I agree with Kyren Williams being extended. So we’ll just agree to disagree. No harm no foul.

I appreciate this type of postso thanks. I'm just acknowledging what my eyes see and what Kyren's stats are for this year. He has struggled out of the gate this year vs what he's done in the past. We didn't have to sign him to an extension this year. What if this continues all year? Would it have been possible to sign him to a cheaper contract to be our inside runner type of running back? Also I wonder if Corum just cuts his runs to the outside better than Kyren since he obviously has more juice than him. If I were a defense I'd definitely want Kyren running more lateral because he doesn't have wheels to punish a defense like that. Maybe McVay's playcalls and drafting a speed back this year is an acknowledgement of that?
