Fair enough.

I'd agree with your assessment if we're talking about the Jackson from a few years ago, but not for an athletically declining Jackson.

And I'm higher on Harbaugh than you are. Since he's been called by 10+ teams, it sounds like the whole league is, too.
Maybe. But, I'll just say that 10+ teams interest in a good experienced coach in the wake of all the turnover over the years isn't much of a surprise to me. The potential talent pool at the position seems a bit questionable.

My guess is there was a time that Patriots wish they had held on to a declining Brady instead of a great coach in Belichick. But, oh well. It looks like things worked out for them now.

Brady was 43 when they moved on from him. I doubt Kraft and company have any regrets about that. Besides when that divorce happened it was clear that they were nearing the end of the road with Brady and Belichick. There were many rifts between Kraft and Belichick, so there was much instability there.

But when organizational infrastructure has a proven history of winning and is stable, I'd take that, without regret, over an ancient QB or an aging and soon to decline running QB.

I like two defensive coaches for this gig, either Brian Flores or Jesse Minter. If Flores he could bring in Brian Daboll as his OC being they worked together in New England.
Flores can run a defense man. He's probably been the best coach in Minnesota since he got there. Question is can he run a whole staff and install the culture. I'd certainly give him a second chance if I were an owner, as long as he can sell me on his OC choice.

If your team has been a shit show for an extended period then do everything to get Harbaugh, he will change the culture and bring winning and respect.
If you have some pieces and aren't stuck in a long term powerslide to hell Stefanski could be a great grab

After that it's recycled or take a shot at a younger guy.

I see Harbaugh in one of the bigger markets, it just makes sense. NY. Miami (if it opens) and maybe LV. TN is my longshot
The raiders could be a good job. They have good young back, a star at TE, and they get the #1 pick to land a QB. Picking 1rst or 2nd in the following rounds? You need an OL for your young stars on offense.

Go sign a couple players. Start building a defense.

Chiefs in decline. That division is gonna be wide open for a couple years. I don’t think the broncos or the chargers will be able to sustain a chokehold on it.

I would love to be the GM of the raiders right now. I’d hire Harbaugh if I felt his heart was still in.

Agreed. Can you imagine rolling into that division as a new head coach? Talk about trial by fire.

There simply aren't many coordinators on this year's "hot coaches list" who I would expect to project to be able to go in to Vegas and have a snowball's chance in hell of competing. I mean even McVay when we hired him, we didn't know for sure he'd be this dude. We hoped.

The two Western divisions are fucking brutal man. Cards are in the same boat.
Yes, those two western divisions are very competitive right now, but I don’t necessarily think the raiders or zona are THAT far off.

The raiders have a couple good young pieces on offense in bowers and jeanty with a shot at a QB in this draft. Lots of high picks coming their way this year.

Zona used 80 players to get through this season. Ouch. They were competitive in the beginning and lost a few tight games; but, once the injuries started piling up…
Who knows what this team could be next year with guys coming back and drafting high this year.

Then again, I am always using the Rams as a draft model. They have had a lot of success in their he draft recently. For most teams, especially the perennial lousy ones who are always picking early, they seem to struggle with it.

I disagree, the offensive line is a mess in Las Vegas and the defense has one player, that's it. Granted they will have their choice at QB, but will they hire a HC that can develop him? Mark Davis cannot spell cat if you spotted him the C and the A. So IMO, they will continue to be the bottom feeder of the AFC West.

That one surprises me a little.

Realize the Bucs' offense dipped this season but their offense was hit hard by injuries at pretty-much every single position, including both WR starters, both OT starters and their top RB. Only one O-Lineman played in all 17 games; and he played out-of-position for part of the season, filling-in for injured OL.
