Sorry to those who do not just look at the football part of the equation.

Belichick deserves to be a first ballot hall of famer.

Did he try to cheat? Maybe, he won.

Do I hate what happened to the Rams? Absolutely. Rams deserved the SB imo.

Is Belichick one of the best HCs of all-time. Absolutely. No debate.

Evaluate on what he did in the NFL. Easy. First ballot HF.

Too many HF voters don't just look at the football part of the equation. Ridiculous.
He was fined for cheating. Everything he ever did comes into question.
THat is how it works.

Pretty strong words there friend. He's done NOTHING without the GOAT QB. And with that QB, they played in the weakest division in football so they were guaranteed 5 or 6 wins every year. Plus he had to cheat multiple times to accomplish that. First ballot my ass.

This is barely worth responding to. Find me a Hall of Fame coach who didn't have a Hall of Fame QB.

On Haley, does he have three as a coach because he has 5 as a player.

Wtf.

I think the cheating scandals have bought his coaching credentials into question. People may rightly ask if he hadn’t cheated or had access to opposition game plans, would he have been so ‘successful’?

So I have no issue with that cheating baby door missing out on first ballot

How many superbowls did the cheaters win by a FG or less? Imagine having tapes of the other team's plays? Could that have turned things in their favor in close games? Of course.

Goodell: I saw the tapes (by Matt Walsh)), but I saw no cheating so I destroyed the tapes without letting anyone else see them.

If you buy that, I have the Brooklyn bridge for sale right now.

Right? Isn't that why McSnead gave up 2 first rounders plus Goff to get Stafford?

Obviously it's an oversimplification, but every HoF coach has had rosters with multiple HoF players, many of them QBs.

It's a silly argument. "Imagine BB without Brady." Yeah, imagine Walsh without Montana, Noll without Bradshaw, Johnson without Aikman, Shula without Marino.

The list goes on.

Well here are the facts.......he cheated, he's an arrogant asshole, he's well liked mostly by Patriot fans......and here's the kicker......HE'S NOT A FIRST BALLOT HOFer. The votes are in and it's official. I guess you could say, mission accomplished :laugh4:

To the question "what HOF HC didn't have a HOF QB", I'll ask "which HOF HCs had a HOF QB for 19 years?"

Wtf.
Joe Gibbs.
George Allen (he only used Jurgensen when Kilmer wasn't moving the team and wouldn't permit him to be on
the REDSKINS' sideline in Super Bowl VII, though Kilmer wanted the injured QB's help.

Anyway, that's two off the top of my head.

Oh, and Bill Parcells, whom it is rumored instructed his Giants DC in the ways of espionage.

Wonder if his “sweet tart” will take him out with some bedroom gymnastics before he gets elected.

There is no Bellicheat if there is no Tom Brady.

Bellicheat found lightning in a bottle and still felt the need to push the rules.

There is no coincidence that Brady starts playing and Bellicheat starts winning and Brady leaves and Bellicheat takes a total dive with any success yet Brady still finds success with another team.

Bellicheat should never be in the HOF with a holistic view of his career.

I don’t have to like him, of course, but he won a LOT of Superbowls which is freaking hard to do.

Ridiculous he’s not first ballot. Unless the cheating really was true? What would be another reason to vote against him? He won a LOT of Superbowls!

Do these guys have to disclose their justification for each vote?

Boo hoo. Since when do coaches come up for vote 2 years out of the league?. They need to wait five just like Craig Dahl had to wait five years.

Who’s to say Bilicheat doesn’t get another coaching job in the NFL?

What did Kurt have to say?
Kurt addresses the Belichick question from the 2:45 mark to the 9:05 mark.

Kurt takes the high road for sure. Says it's"crazy" that given his accomplishments that BB isn't in the HOF. KW says he doesn't know "for a fact" what happened before SB 36. KW also implies it's a slippery slope trying to gauge "how much cheating" should disqualify someone.

I've always admired KW but I'm kinda surprised at how much he's willing to give BB the benefit of the doubt.
