Yeah, this isn't the year. Find guys that will play, even if it isn't for another year.I don't mind a project here or there - but I'm hoping tonight we don't draft any.

When I look down at the guys who will be available in this draft in those spots and what's available now.. I feel okay about it. I just think they need a wave of players from this draft to be competent in order to be seriously competitive in 24.I wouldn't trade back too far if they decide to. Gotta be a balance between trading too far back and getting some solid players. I wouldn't necessarily be mad either if we stay out either and pick up a solid player. I'm sure the Rams know who they want to target.
Uhhh sign me up for this please. Trade back and grab another 3rd rounder that turns into Kraft. Yes please. My Day 2 mock with a trade down from #36 to 48 and 81 :
2(48) - DL Adetomiwa Adebawore, N.W. (Part 1 of Detroit trade)
3a(69) - OC/OG Steve Avila, TCU (Ramsey trade)
3b(77) - Edge Derick Hall, Aub.
3c(81) - TE Tucker Kraft, S.D.St.
They haver remarkably similar college experience honestly. 22 games for AR (although he didn't get full starting duties until '22 in 12 games). 19 games for TL (of which he likely only started 17). Almost exactly the same completions. To me the difference is that AR looks like he has every tool in the bag and just needs refinement. And many of his tools are elite and perhaps as elite as anyone in the league currently. I'd gamble on AR over TL every day of the week (and its not just hindsight speaking).i dunno man, he looks like a huge project. everyone was drooling about lance and he flopped so far. richardson is even less experienced isn't he? and has accuracy/mental issues. they have no idea if he'll be any good in the nfl. there was a sneaking suspicion that lamar would be good but teams were too scared to take him high.
.
If Avila lasts to pick 69, we should sprint the pick in. Dude is on the same level as Torrence for me but, can play anywhere on the line. If we happen to have injuries again (knock on fucking wood) he can fill in admirably. And Vorhees is one of my favorite prospects and is ideal for us. He could IR for the year if he needed and potentially start in '24, when we are making our run.My favorite IOL scenario would bring us C/OG Steve Avila at pick #69 and OG Andrew Vorhees later following a trade. While Brian Allen/Shelton are our likely Center & back-up Center for 2023, Steve Avila would start at OG this season and slide over to starting at Center in 2024 after learning the system. Vorhees is probably going to slide down some because of his ACL injury and inability to play this season, so next year with Avila now at Center, Vorhees would become a permanent starting OG.
Did several mocks yesterday.Seems like a lot of talent there, I really don’t want a trade down farther than low 40’s if they do it. They have to get a day 1 starter who makes a difference.
Torrence or Avila would be my wants.
I hear you there but I'd say 20 spots is too much of a drop. Guess I hope they find a happy medium to have their cake and eat it too. Gonna be interesting and I hope we pick some good rookies cuz we definitely need it.When I look down at the guys who will be available in this draft in those spots and what's available now.. Well, at least someone got my reference a few pages backI heard that none of Will Levis’ teammates went to his birthday party.
I don’t see it happening much at number 36 ? Heard Kevin Demoff talking on the local News from The Lab!!
Demoff said he talked to Les about it & he said there are still players The Rams liked at 1-36 that are there.
—called it a premium player, unless he trades back to 50 or so ? When he said that it was sort of sarcastic & won’t be happy.
Just my take on it.There might be a Big Pool Splash. Weather has been nice as well.
Good plan, but isn’t an ACL the reason that Allen can’t stay on the field? My favorite IOL scenario would bring us C/OG Steve Avila at pick #69 and OG Andrew Vorhees later following a trade. Don't lie, you know you want him!If we took Levis at 36, then that would be as bad as taking Tutu over Creed
Doesn't have the quicks like some of the other studs do. Again, reminds me of Kyle Brady and I think we need to get far more needy and impactful positions with our (very rare) early pick.4.7 40 and a 32.5 vertical isn't super athletic but he isn't a stiff either. Gronks's 40 time was 4.68 and he had 33.5 vertical and he turned out ok.

Yeah, i might like Washington over Mayer honestly. At least he is elite at something, I don't think Mayer is.Doesn't have the quicks like some of the other studs do. Again, reminds me of Kyle Brady and I think we need to get far more needy and impactful positions with our (very rare) early pick.
Disagree. If a projected 1st round QB falls to the 2nd round and we got a shot to find a possible replacement for Stafford (who might not even last the 2023 year) then I say go for it. Levis would be a great fit and now that he's off the 1st round there is a lot of pressure taken off him.Ok....so most on here would despise taking a QB at 36.
So which QB are we taking.
Levi's or Hooker?
Washington is helluva a blocker tho too and he smashed some of the "studs" in this draft. That's gotta hold some value especially in the run game. Plus it'd be nice to have a physically imposing player that can beat defenses up. Not advocating for the guy but just giving reasons why he may be considered.Doesn't have the quicks like some of the other studs do.
