Puka’s going to continue to throw himself off buildings to make a catch so they better have someone who can sub him.i wonder if that means they’re out on signing a WR in FA.
I think that's likely until after the drafti wonder if that means they’re out on signing a WR in FA.
There's a lot of moving parts here.Isn't that where Whittington is supposed to go?
I agree he has very good hands but he has too short of arms when covered.I think you're all full of shit and simply repeating what has become conventional wisdom and residual Creed dick sucking.
Go look at Staffords "best of 2024 vid" and check out Atwell's play.
Going to end up the best signing of the season.
Injuries? He fucked up his shoulder halway thru his rookie season - missed 8 games.
Other than that, half a game due to a concussion - big deal. False narrative.
Has hands down, (intended) the best hands on the team and is our only field stretcher.
So let's try a little positivity assholes!
If all true, this means we have 3 guys for F and Z: Puka, Tutu, and Whitt. Obviously, Puka is playing nearly every snap so one of Tutu and Whitt will be depth. My current guess is that will be Whitt. But good depth is always a need so it doesn't really matter. There's a lot of moving parts here.
-Tutu's best spot is from the slot, I believe Whittington's best usage will most likely be from the slot.
- However, seems like someone from the Rams told Jourdan they envision the usage of Whitt and Puka to look like Puka and Kupp circa 2023 (which was different than last year). That may speak to Puka taking more snaps in slot and Whitt being used at Z ala Robert Woods.
- Tutu's next best spot is probably at Z
I think some of these things won't get sussed out till OTA's and training camp much like finding the right combo on the oline.
Either way, Tutu can back up every spot and will most likely compete at slot/Z and without Kupp's skillset anymore, I think we'll probably be platooning more often (we increased this last year already) at some spots with packages with Tutu on the field and packages with Whitt on the field.
If he did, I can't exactly fault him. I certainly would've used it for charity instead, buuut it's not my money.Amazing.
Mcvay spends 10 million just to troll memento.![]()
It'll be interesting to find out. I hope we don't go receiver early in the draft though now. We can't afford rookie growing pains.Maybe. But in the limited targets Tutu did show an ability to run routes with good hands. Plus, he's usually gonna be the fastest guy on the field in most games. Why they didn't use him more downfield is a head scratcher.
Most of us thought he wasn't used as much because the coaches didn't feel he was as capable. But this signing might tell us different. Its possible he'll be a decent WR2 or WR3 when targeted more.
I gotta think they trusted him enough if they signed him to more money than expected. Question is, does Stafford trust him enough?
I tend to agree with this. Tutu did come up with some big, timely first down grabs with the game in the balance. More targets, and the team should also draft the best TE available , if they stay at 26. Then a corner, a wideout and an LB ...... in that order. Unless someone else who was unexpected drops into our laps, of course.Tutu was the 19th WR in the NFL in yards per route run. Lets get him some more targets and see what happens. He made some big catches at clutch times last season.

Other guys in roles, read Kupp in the F
