The level of my hate for the Whiners is competitive to my level of love for our Rams. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE our Rams!

I will let the chips fall as they may.

GO RAMS!!!
Here is one reason why....In 1978 being 12 years old, I wanted the Rams to hire Bill Walsh to replace Chuck Knox, Owner Carroll Rosenbloom was close doing it, but at the last minute decided to go with George Allen...To what could've been.

So I was a much more casual Rams fan in 1978. Was there any explanation as to what changed the Rams mind?

This is a really, really tough cal!. The fact that the '9ers have swept us for the last three seasons has me borderline psychotic to just think about it. I would have much preferred to have us go through SF, GB, and the AFC champs in order to corral SB Gold. If we win the SB without beating the '9ers this season, that SB win would always have an indelible asterisk next to it in my mind. How the hell can we be legitimate SB Champs if we can't handle the freakin' '9ers!?!

GB beat us earlier this season too, and I naturally want revenge for that. However, what makes this a really tough choice between SF & GB is remembering that some classless GB OL guy mouthing off about AD99 after our divisional round loss to them last playoffs. A severely AD struggled to play a game that most NFL players would never attempted to play and, consequently, was only a shadow of his true self, and this nameless SOB (I can't even remember who the hell it was!) had the nerve! to verbally spew out trashtalk about our Super AD99 and his tears of frustration. I think AD needs to posterize the entire GB OL on his way to taking down that other Aaron multiple times! Indelible asterisk or not, even if we have to put off SF's destruction until next season, I can still derive a palatable satisfaction in seeing our Horns humble GB.

From all that I researched, Walsh wanted to be HC & GM so they would've had to work that out because the Rams had their GM in Don Klosterman, but IMO, it was Carroll's son Steve Rosenbloom, that kept saying all George Allen does is win, however, they should have paid more attend to post season because Allen's record was worse then Knox when it came to the post season.

Again I was only 12 at the time, but through the years I have read different articles and IMO, CR (Carroll Rosenbloom) liked Walsh and he was number 2 on his list, but the record of George Allen and thinking that is what the team needed to get to the Super Bowl trumped his gut feeling.

The worse part is Allen & Rosenbloom were not a good match and Rosenbloom fired Allen after just two preseason games in 1978. So we ended up with Ray Malavasi instead of Bill Walsh and that has always bothered me through the years.

I'll be rooting for the Rams on Sunday!

I don't like Rodgers or the Whiners so I will be hoping for an extra physical game. Hard to root for either team.

Playing next week in Green Bay or LA? LA would seem to be better for the Rams.

Go Rams!!

The only reason I would like the Niners over the Packers is that I would love for the Rams to win their Super Bowl berth in front of the home crowd. But regardless beating the Packers in the finals would be sweet revenge.

That said I still think the Bucs are the biggest hurdle for the Rams. They must play a clean game to win.

I know going to Tampa is better than going to Green Bay for us. But when I watched the 49er/Cowboy game I just could not root for the bad guys. I wanted to see Dallas score the winning TD at the end and break their hearts. And I don't even like the Cowboys. That is how deep my 49er hatred goes.

As much as I don't like our matchup with the 49ers I know them winning is the best thing for us if we win. A home game in warm weather against the worst QB left in the playoffs. As opposed to playing in very cold weather against a Hall of Fame quarterback. But when they kick off tomorrow night I know my heart won't let me root for the 49ers.

I would never ever cheer the 40whiners ever. I'll always cheer for the other team, and if the damn whiners happen to luck out a win I'll look at the positives on the results. So for this week I'm really not cheering for either team.

But if the whiners win: "Love to see that jerkoff Rodgers sent home with no chance at a title. Screw that smug asshole. And at least we don't have to play in snowy Green Bay. Bring on the damn whiners!"

If the Packers win: "Love to see the whiners get bounced from the playoffs and have their delusional-turned-faithless fan base pound sand and cry. Screw all those front running bandwagon every-qb-is-the-next-montana and living in the past loser fucktards! On to Green Bay!"

I have a genuine fear.

If we play the whiners at home and lose,

I just don't know if I could handle that witnessing it in person. This last loss was pretty hard on me. I was not pre-pared. I can't live where I live and work with whom many I work with and go home with those asshats going to a SB in our house. Much less winning it god forbid.

It is my damn kryptonite.

Just me, but I want the whiners to lose but physically beat up the Packers, maybe knock out a few key players.

Then we beat the bucs and we'll see what happens.

I don't think I could handle it if we somehow lost to the whiners and they wind up in the super bowl. Not to mention the whiners would be out of the playoffs if we had stopped them 88 yards away with no timeouts. It still sickens be although McVay had them ready to go against Arizona.

If the niners win, and I think they have a really good shot with their running game verses the packers run defense, they will come back to sofi cocky as all hell.

That's when when we go full tarrantino on them. We don't just beat them in a revenge game, we completely destroy any chance of them making the playoffs next year.

Jimmy g, hes a dead man, debo, dead, bosa dead, neidermeyerrr....dead.

If we win the Superbowl I'd be happy with any path it took to get there. However, my dream scenario is to demolish Tampa, Green Bay, and the Bills or KC. I want the Rams to go down as a historically strong Super Bowl winner. I want to beat Brady, Rogers, and either Mahomes or Allen. We're talking about the rest of our lives. I want to be talking about how the '21 Rams were one of the best I'd ever seen play for years to come.
