I think the Lions are really gonna miss Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn. Johnson was a freaking genius last year. And Glenn held that D together (up until the playoffs) despite a ridiculous number of injuries. OTOH, Lions will get back Hutchinson and a bunch of starters back from injury.
Yeah well…

Knee was good enough to run 44 yards in the first half. And other than that one play - they did well against him in the first half.
He ran well in a straight line, but he wasn't nearly as agile as he's shown. Couldn't juke anybody.

The Rams are that good. If both the Rams and their opponent’s roster is healthy, and on a neutral field…there isn’t a team in the NFL I would favor over the Rams except for the eagles. They’ve earned that.

As many of you have pointed out though, the OL health has been a real issue. They have had that issue since the SB win in ‘21 and have played a 3 man rotation at Tackle since big Whit retired.
As it stands right now McClendon is the #3/swing Tackle.
Ugh. He was decent on the right side but absolutely horrific on the left.

We know the Rams could use an upgrade at CB and ILB, but drafting a future starting Tackle who can come in and at least fill in at LT (leaving McClendon on the right) is an insurance policy the Rams need. I don’t expect big Rob to play the entire regular season without missing a start, and AJ could miss time again too.
It has been the pattern for this OL and after losing Noteboom and jackson, it is not as deep a unit as it was last year.

I like it better when they are under the radar. Every time we get overhyped , it never goes well. GSOT was a prime example. Either way , I like the looks of this team.

True but I still feel we would have been able to contain Daniels to only a few good plays.

He wasn't able to do hardly anything against Philadelphia and I feel our front line is almost as good as the Eagles. Our secondary is definitely worse but still believe he would only score around 20 points on us.

Philadelphia blew out Washington and I think we would have beaten them by two scores at home against a rookie QB in the championship game. Their defense was extremely suspect. I think we would have done just like we did against Buffalo on offense.

Our offense had tough times against man coverage and I don't think Washington had the secondary to play man against us.

I think a refrain you're already hearing and will continue to hear is we're gonna be a superbowl contender depending on injuries this year...

Maybe, but the Eagles had more familiarity with Daniels as they had the benefit of playing Washington two times this season prior to the Championship Game. One of those games in late December, if I'm not mistaken.

I chuckled, at first, when D'Marco Farr said that Washington was the team he did not want to see prior to the start of the playoffs. But, he got me to thinking once he reminded me that last year's defense just had a tough time corralling those types of QBs too often.

Hey, maybe they win. I just don't think it would have been the given most seem probably believe.

I will give you that but again I want to stress our offense would have been able to score against Washington's defense because their secondary would not have been able to play man against Kupp and Nacua and those were the types of defenses that we struggled against.
