I dont think everyone is a possible trade. The 3 that just got huge bonuses and guarantees? Dont see it. Everyone else yes. I also dont see a coach as competitive as mcvay going out this low.
They moved their QB right after signing him to a big extension. I've learned not to rule things out with them.

Hope you're right. I honestly am not sure either way, but am very concerned.

He’s burnt out. This season is taking a toll on him. Funny is Les Snead is in hibernation. He should be very thankful & give Mcvay a nice XMas present for getting Snead his contract & taking all the heat in the media.

Tough to lose, but if you look at The Rams roster it should tell ALL OF US TRUE RAMS FANS all we need to know.

Sean Mcvay is coming back
Stafford just said he is coming back
AD99 is being held back

The Rams will take some time off & comeback all fired up. AD99 must be going CRAZY!!

Ramsey isn't being traded lol
If this team has taught us anything over the past few years, it’s that we should not be so dismissive of outside the box concepts.

Or, perhaps, by lol, you meant “lest offered lots.”

They would need to pull cap space out of thin air or make some interesting moves to even be relevant next year IMO. This roster at full strength isn't even the best in our division at the moment. Not sure how they will shore up the OL, RB, TE, Edge and safety positions in one offseason, but we shall see.

I know I will get flamed for this, but it is just my opinion. Things fell perfectly into place for this team in last years post season, and it was GLORIOUS!! But let's be honest. If the Rams had not won that SB, and followed it up with this dumpster fire of a season, Les and his "F them picks" would be the butt of all jokes.

But they DID win that sumbitch, so the haters have to keep their shit eating mouths shut!! What an amazing story and season that was. I just think they are gonna need to be super creative to get back into the SB conversation, but who knows

After a season like this everyone is potentially on the trade block tbh. Stafford could be moved. AD. Ramsey. I wouldn't rule any of them out because all it would take is a team throwing a big offer to you for one of them or the Rams deciding they can use the return to hasten the rebuild.

AD could work in a Pittsburgh trade because he can live close to his daughter during the season. Stafford could go to any number of teams and hopefully one with a good line. Ramsey feels like a salary dump but we found a trade partner for Cooks so who knows.

I don’t see Stafford playing elsewhere. It’s LA until retirement.

Offer the Panthers this year's second (which will be in the top half of the round) and two first round picks via 2024 & 2025.

That’s too rich, and I am a Burns guy. I’d love to see us get him.

But… He’s due a big contract, which takes down his trade value.

bro he is 36 years old...

no way he is walking away from coaching anytime soon.
I can see him following one of his main mentors (John Gruden) path.....coach for another 4 years or so, retire at 40 or 41 and come back a decade later.

Then get suspended for poor judgement. Who knows ?

His coaching tree sure is doing well around The NFL

I also feel that the Rams will make a push to get Burns this off season.
Burns would be fantastic, but we need to put whatever resources we assemble towards beefing up our OL. OL will have a ripple effect through the D, everywhere. We won't get past the Niners unless we do. The good thing is all our starters are so iffy we could likely go OL BPA for trades/FA.

The Rams have some of the holes to fill. They are very very top-heavy with cap numbers. I don't see them being able to cut players to make it worth their wild to save cap. The defense has done decently all things considered. They just need another pass rusher to help AD. Maybe they can find a cheaper type of player that can produce some pressure so they can play tighter on the backend.

The offense needs a talent infusion on the offensive line. They could use another running back that is more of a power back but, he will need better blocking. A healthy Stafford, Kupp, Robinson, and Jefferson will recharge the offense. Benny Skow, Powell and even Tutu can take reps and be productive to keep the others rested and healthy.

It's a little retooling and hope they stay healthy.

If a team offers us a King's ransom, maybe, but I just doubt it. Think he'll be a Ram next year. He's the least of our problems.

Dude honestly, I’m all about moving Ramsey. Idk if we could get what we’ve given, AD on the other hand I’d consider it, but it’ll have to be legit compensation.
If it's a Post-June 1 trade, wouldn't that mean the Rams could not receive any 2023 draft choices in return?
Well considering the draft is April 27-29 the answer is yes. Which does make this intriguing.

Unless the Rams are willing to assume some additional debt, I just can't see too many teams willing to pick up Ramsey's 2023/2024 CAP.
Meh.. always someone willing to. I could see Morris getting a HC job and we trade Ramsey there.

Here's the thing with AD... He is the guy you don't mind paying when everything is in place. But shit is no longer in place. The overall roster quality has dipped considerably around him. And the quality of the offense has dipped as well.

Looking at his contract he has a $27M cap hit this season. $26M next season. And after a team out option in the 2024 offseason he has a $34M cap hit in the final year. He is 31 years old.

I think now is the time to move him. Chances are his game will degrade, and he knows that which is why he has been speaking of retirement, but part of the equation is his daughter lives in Pittsburgh. So to me there is no great sin in moving the guy to allow him to enjoy those last few years of his career and maybe milk out his retirement checks with another team. I'd love to see him retire in horns, but we could undoubtedly get some good value this offseason in exchange for him.

Most will react like I'm talking heresy I realize. But it makes a lot of sense from the business side and if the player is helped by it too then surely it can't be all that bad. No matter what he does in Pittsburgh in his remaining time he'll always be a Hall of Fame Rams player. He will always belong to us. But that contract and his age are a bad combination and if the Rams are serious about reloading this roster it seems to me like that could be the type of move that is a big shot in the arm.

Ramsey seems much more likely to happen. His game has declined significantly. But he won't bring the value in return that AD can bring. And the Rams can emerge from that cutthroat move much stronger and smarter than the average team, which tbh is what makes them who they are during the McVay years.
