Yeah I'm done with it, I was on the fence about it in offseason but now I hope it gets banned if they aren't going to officiate it properly. Overall the Eagles got away with so much shit yesterday it was unbelievable.

Totally agree and furthermore if allowed to start early its also a player safety issue.
If the refs can't see the right guard dive forward before the ball is snapped because they are lined up illegally the play must be banned. Or at least made reviewable. The NFL has got to get a handle on this. Other teams are complaining about the same things. False starts take place every time.

Im beginning to belive that because the NFL is an entertainment company that refs are told to keep games close or to bend the rules in favor of certain teams. There's too much inconsistencies game to game and team to team.
Example puka Personal foul for flexing. Dude has been doing that for three weeks straight then gets a weird flag?
No obvious PI calls, no obvious false starts. Even the holding call against Shelton was completely away from thr play and had no barring on the outcome.
Obviously my tin foil hat could be melting my brain but my eyes tell me something is and has been off in the NFL for sometime.
Additionally even if reffing crews were caught fixing games the NFL would do everything to hide it from the public. Example: burning the spygate tapes.
IF there is a known infraction on every attempt and the refs are not flagging it, who are the owners that are not voting to ban it? I'd like to know a single owner outside of the Eagles owner that benefits from it? Eagles may not have won the game had the refs called the tush pushes correctly. And as far as the fumble goes, if Hurts is allowed to gain yards surfing on those bodies, that is a live ball and thus should be eligible for fumbling, which he did just prior to the whistle yesterday, yet he gets the benefit of the doubt and they say his momentum was stopped prior, meanwhile, he is moving the ball forward for more yards. These Eagle games need to be heavily scrutinized by the NFL as they are just getting advantageous calls that zero other teams in the NFL are getting.
So, why does Hurt keep pushing forward if there's a whistle blowing, or if his forward progress had stopped.
I just don't know, not having seen the officials running in with their arms waving over their heads, as if the play was over?

The center is too far over the ball, they false start regularly and it appears that the 2 tackles are set up too far off of the LOS.

Yeah, if they blew the whistle, they blew the whistle. I don't recall hearing it until after the ball was out, but they may have blown it before.

Given the prevalence of uncalled false starts on tush push plays, I've gotta believe they are being coached to go early and to keep doing it as long as it's not going to be called.
No need to feel badly about thinking this way, JB. The reality is, none of us can name a single billion-a-year dollar industry that isn't in complete control of assuring the money keeps coming in.

Which leads to possibly the real reason other teams aren’t doing it. They can’t get it to work legally.
Keep doing it PHI. The push is legal and I’m conceding the chicken shit push but at some point an officiating crew will have the balls to call the early movement and hopefully set a precedent to put this to rest. They sure as shit did it in the NOLA game.

He can keep pushing and all that if he wants. If the refs blow the whistle the play is dead and its their job to spot the ball.
Because he is kinda of body surfing on his lineman and isn't down there is some leeway and blah, blah......
I hope it gets banned this offseason.
