The league doesn't mind bad calls. It's good for business, fuels talk shows and gets fans talking. The refs are part of the overall production, story. They are the conflict, or a part of it. The bad guys as much as the opposing side. It's part of what makes the game great. Look how long this thread is over a play one team runs. Honestly I think the eagles leave a lot of big plays on the field running it. You've got two game breakers on the outside who destroy one on one's and your running a wedge it out type play instead of using play action sometimes for huge plays.
That said I don't like the play because the officials can't officiate it very well. Also it didn't matter in our game because we made the play irrelevant by dominating them before we decided to fold in the 2nd half.

I’d be interested in knowing when the last time the Eagles were penalized or a turnover granted on a tush push play. And I know it’s a personal problem but every time I hear or write tush push it pisses me off.

Not certain the year but it was a Dallas game. Below is a photo of some Cowboys fans happy with the call.

Don't remember the network, but a table of commenters unanimously agreed that after yesterday the TP is toast now, due to the fact it's impossible to officiate it. That was a 14-point swing given to the Eagles.
