I finally got to see the movie tonight, and I thought it was really well done.

It did not seem like a made-for-TV movie at all, and Zack’s acting was actually pretty good too. Some stuff bugged, like the team using the “snail” logo in ‘99. And oddly enough the guy who played Marshall Faulk was played by someone named OJ Simpson. But overall, a pretty damn good movie.

Did the film do any justice to Isaac Bruce?

Fuck the cards.

I know some will really want to see this movie. I have to say though... I don't have any interest in watching it. For me... there is just no way it will tell the story of what really happened. I lived through it. It's like when they try to make an amazing book or series of books into a movie... it ain't the same. There's just no way that a sports story can be told properly on the big screen for me. Plus... the football scenes don't look realistic to me.

I'll go back up on my porch now and wait for the next trespasser that steps foot in my yard.
Old crotchety bastid. Better have some authentic Hawaiian pizza, yur blood sugar must be low to get that mean!

Stealers WR never got both feet down, the NFL didn't want them to win. Penalties were very one sided on that game.

Really liked this movie, and I honestly didn't have my hopes too high for it. The trailer does kinda make it look like a straight to DVD type film, but it's not. Was deff confused when they never mentioned or showed him on the Giants team before going to the Rams, but it was mostly about his personal life and struggles.

He went to the Packers before the Arena League and Rams, but he only lasted a couple days in training camp. That was in the movie, though.

Finally had time to see the movie last evening.

Meh.......

Likely for time they left out his important year in NFL Europe. They played it like he went right from the Barnstormers to the Rams.

Didn't Brenda get cancer also? I recall that being a big point during the GSOT days. That wasn't in the film.

I think you are not missing anything waiting for it to stream.

I did love all the Rams stuff.

I enjoyed it. The Bruce and Faulk parts made me laugh. I guess it also helped I saw it after the Vikings win. :D Wonder if they filmed any Amsterdam scenes but cut them out because they were making the film more of a love story and didn't have any time for it.

Oh jeez. I couldn't watch it knowing this big a game is on at the same time! I mean I want the rollercoaster ride, but at the same time I DON'T want the rollercoaster ride...

Cant believe it doesn’t have streaming platform lined up. I don’t think it’s a compliment that it’s literally the only movie which can’t be streamed (legally or otherwise) upon its release
