Let's be honest.... how long since we've seen any surprises in this offense?

Where is the presnap motion and the reverse/fake-reverse threat that used to be a staple of this offense?

We've seen stinkers from McVays Rams before. This one was just on the opener for a change.
Im concerned like everyone else but I have a lot of faith in this team to figure it out.
McVay has changed offense to fit Stafford's strength, but
I think he needs to change it back to what you were saying to play to the Olines strength's
That's the offense most of these lineman were brought up in.
I had rather Stafford adjust than all of the oline.

That's my concern exactly.
The Rams O looks a lot like the Stafford Lions O.
I'd love to see a lot more of the 2017/2018 motion and multiplicity.

Maybe we will use actual turnstiles next week. That would slow the rush down! :explode1::giggle:
I just do not know why McVay didn't change the protections so that Allen helped Edwards more often instead of Allen helping Shelton

Shelton was doing much better 1 on 1 than Edwards

If Anchrum does well at RG he should stay there when Allen returns. Shelton can play LG instead of that JAG Edwards. David has had 3 years to develop and he's pretty much the same. Another of Kromer's failed projects.

Ugh - ok ? Kromers O”Line didn’t do all that bad. Maybe Josh Allen is that much better than Stafford?

Roger Saffold did his early season thing. I don’t know if he was alright, but he was better than Edwards with Kromer helping get to that next level as a LG?

His Comp Pick wasn’t a bad thing. He cost to much to keep & David Edwards was better than Noteboom (Corbett) in 2019. Speaking of ? I think Kromer wasn’t to bad putting that young O’LINEMAN together? I look at it a little different.

I actually am not sure what is going to happen upfront this season, but Kromer had one of The Best run games in The NFL season in season out. CJ Anderson didn’t last long in the league after that 2018 SuperBowl run? Gurley was obviously playing hurt? Wasn’t Cam Akers rookie season under Kromer as well?

I finally watched the game, didn’t get to see much Thursday.

I thought it was kind of sloppy but not terrible and the second half was flipped with 3 or 4 plays that made the difference. 2 long passes that just can’t happen.

The oline looked questionable but then we knew that and I blame the coaches for not playing them in the preseason. They absolutely have not played together enough and Stafford got beat up because of it.

Stafford needs to use AR, Kupp is great but he cannot be the target 70% of the time.

All said I think they can clean some of it up and this will be a distant memory soon enough.
