I know it has been mentioned several times here, but if the Rams can draft a stud linebacker... it could make this defense elite. Might not need the offense to be #1 anymore. Another strong DT and they could be equivalent to the 85 Bears or 2000 Ravens.

Or they could just take one at 61 or 93 or in the 6th. It just means they're looking at LB
Based on the reported interviews they are considering an LB with their 2nd round pick. They may have to move up R2 a bit to get whomever they want vs whomever is available.

Louis is extremely active and mobile, great range and tackling in space. I like that the Rams are showing interest in him.

Also he dominated in Senior Bowl week. Him and that TCU safety were the top defensive standouts.

Golday and Louis are interesting as they don't seem to be your traditional off ball LB types. Maybe they Rams are entertaining bringing the slot LB to the league and blitzing a lot more.

It wouldn't shock me one bit if both were still on the board at #61.

This might be my favorite draft in recent memory for the rams. Given their roster construction, there's not a single position other than special teams that I think they couldn't justifiably take at 13. Even the guard from Penn state. Are the rams going to pay both Dotson and Avila in 2027? Probably not. So getting an amazing successor might be the way to go.

Idk personally I think I'd be very surprised if we took a S, ILB, RB, DT, Edge, or backup OL at 13. Mildly surprised if we took a no.3 CB, TE, or backup QB. Fully expecting a WR.

I could be wrong and have been before but personally that's the way I think we've constructed the roster to this point in the offseason leaving a spot open for a premium pick at WR with a surplus of them expected to go right around the area of 13.

NFL.com:
Golday’s traits, explosiveness and field demeanor should make him an early special teams standout with the potential to eventually start at Sam or inside linebacker.

Seems to potentially fit the apparent new team emphasis on special teams
