especially with all the rumors about the team potentially moving Davante Adams.
Not aiming this at you @methomas50 but this is such lazy shit. The only thing I ever found or heard about this was created by one "reporter" with nothing beyond a thought behind it. I have seen several times where McVay and Sneed both almost scoffed at questions about DA's future with the team or if they were talking with him about his contract. On a couple occasions as to probably just put the question to sleep, the answer from both of them was essentially "he's under contract - there's nothing there to do".

I suppose I just hate baseless add ins used to bolster a theory by these talking heads - especially when they just throw it out there so nonchalant as if it's obvious fact.

I'm glad to hear it. I was high on Garrett Nussmeier last season and I personally still like him more than Ty Simpson despite the current consensus opinion. I'm leaning towards drafting a quarterback in next year's class, but I wouldn't complain too loudly if McVay & Snead decide to take a flyer on Nussmeier in the third round or later.
Agree, if there’s someone they like, would be a good idea to grab a QB in the back half of the draft.

Nussmeier's arm just worries me. He has to put a lot of body into his throws.

Of course if the Rams are looking at him it's as a QB2 so it doesn't matter all that much I suppose.

IMO there are maybe 2 or 3 after Mendoza that have an arm that isn't lacking.

I'm not sure who this guy is but he's followed by Jourdan Rodrigue.

Per a source, the Rams met with Pitt LB Kyle Louis extensively at Pitt’s Pro Day. While the details of this meeting are obviously unknown, it was a “pretty long” meeting between Louis and the Rams’ personnel on hand. On top of this, a report circulated that the Rams met with Cincinnati linebacker Jake Golday.
However, Missouri linebacker Josiah Trotter stated that he had met with the Rams at the Combine, it piqued my interest. Outside of gathering results for their grading system or a quick informal meeting, the Rams typically avoid it. While this isn’t a guarantee of their interest in any one specific player, all of these together point in one specific direction: the Rams are doing their due diligence on draftable linebackers, especially on Day 2 of the draft.

If their plan really is "LINEBACKER, LINEBACKER, LINEBACKER," it could mean one of two scenarios.

All-in trade-up for Sonny Styles, OR trade-down of pick 13 and 61 for lower 1st rd. pick and higher 2nd rd. pick. Maybe one of these guys mentioned or that kid Rodriguez......

Or they could just take one at 61 or 93 or in the 6th. It just means they're looking at LB
