I hate not getting to see our Rams play in Jax again. That is the absolute best place in the league to watch your team play on the road. That's because the same amenities are available for the road team and home team in that stadium. The reason is due to the Florida vs Georgia college game (world's largest cocktail party) being played there... they made that a requirement for fareness. So road NFL teams receive this same rare benefit. Road fans have a private VIP bar/restaurant area like the home fans do on their side of the stadium too. All of the road team's family members are in there during the game and it is awesome. Hell, I was carrying around Aaron Donald's son during and after the last Ram game there. I'm really disappointed, but I cautioned about this possibility before the actual schedule was released.

Happy for our Bruddas across the pond though! You guys will all be there I'm sure.

Unless you wanted to see the team play in JAX....but overall yes I agree.
I wanted to see the Rams play the Jags.
Ive been to about 35 or so Ram games....I think Ive seen them win 8 times or so.
From now on I am picking what I think is the "easiest" home game for a season.

I'm unnaturally excited about the schedule release Wednesday. I get to plan out the 2 games that we'll get to fly down and see starting that day. Unfortunately, I'm like 90% sure we will open on the road in Philly. What a tough game to open your season with especially with the starters getting zero minutes in pre season. Hoping I'm wrong, but bet I'm not.
On the bright side, it being the first game of the season, the Rams should be fresh and ready to go; vs. travelling to Philly mid-season or late season in the cold weather. So, if we got to play these little bitches again in Philly, I think doing it game one and in the summer weather is a plus. Maybe, even, the Rams kick the living shit out of them and start the season with a bang. Could be a statement game right out of the gate.

Not arguing here by any means, just giving another point of view.

Edit: Having continued with the thread, it's the Cowboys opening night? Not Us? Am I reading that right?

Edit; Edit: I searched the internet and see that it is the Cowboys heading to Philly for opening night. Go Cowboys!

Man I was looking forward to seeing us play in Jax as you've described the Road fan experience there before. Crazy to think it'll be 8 years before they have a chance to play there again. This news is total Bollocks! (but as you say, excellent news for our British Bruddahs)

I'm not sure catching our Rams in Atlanta, Charlotte, or Nashville is going to beat the experience of a good ole fashion game day at the casa.

Also, looked up the 2017 game you went to in JAX, there was a lot of crazy shit that happened in that game that I'm sure a lot of us remember, especially each team scoring a touchdown in the first 25 seconds. I thought we were in for a long day when Fournette took their first play from scrimmage to the house.
