Note: They currently have $20M of cap remaining this year and are scheduled to only have $5M next year, and that's with only 38 players under contract. So even with carry over, minus incentives paid out, and adding 15 players to the roster next year paid, they will be lucky to have $5-6M left over for next year. And they don’t have many restructurable contracts, unless they double down on Goff and extend him into the 2030's. His contract currently runs until 2029 FA.

Lions are a projected $6M over the cap. They will likely make a couple of cap saving moves and sign a mid level FA and a couple of bargain vets.

The next few years may be a different story with Gibbs. LaPorta, and others requiring extensions.
