I keep seeing Giants fans rationalize trading up for Dart, by saying the Rams were picking him in round one, and that’s justification that Dart is a true franchise QB. 
Schoen jumped the Rams and took Dart and that’s the only reason the Rams traded back They claim Schoen was playing chess while Snead was playing checkers. . (That line is worn out)
They base some of their beliefs off of Todd McShay, who said he believes that theRams were going to take Dart. Despite a report from Connor Hughes of SNY, claiming to have had discussions with the Rams and that they were never taking Dart.

It wasn't a secret that the Rams wanted to trade back. Maybe the Giants thought they would trade back with someone else who wanted Dart and Maybe the Rams were asking for more than Houston. I really doubt the Rams wanted Dart in round 1.
